Nice classy atmosphere, friendly staff and enjoyable food. Especially Tuna, both as cheviche and as main was excellent. Service was friendly and fast. Lovely interior and excellent drinks. Perfect for a date night!

Went for our 5th wedding anniversary and absolutely loved the food, the service and the atmosphere. We had our one year old with us and she was offered her own chair and pencils for drawing. Very kid-friendly and would highly recommend.
The food was so good I would like to give 5 stars. I think it was the best food I’ve ever had anywhere (and yes, I’ve visited Michelin restaurants, too). But there were problems with timing: the aperitifs arrived after the first course, and some...of our group had to wait for their courses for a very long time. Since it was a big group, it is kind of understandable, BUT we had ordered our menus well in advance because of the size. Anyhow, because the food was so very good, I would recommend Mon Ami.More
My partner and I chose to have dinner at this lovely restaurant, after our positive last experience in October 2021. My partner booked beforehand for 2 at 19:30, 17 May 2022. When we arrived there was visible confusion among the staff, but both met us...and accepted us. Although a table had not been allocated, we were seated in a corner, so far so good. After this, no one came. Multiple times both members of staff present (2) passed in front of our table and saw us but did not approach us to give the menu, asking if we wanted a drink, maybe even wondered why we were there? Nothing. So, at 20:00, after 30 mins waiting for somebody to come, we decided to leave. When passing in front of their entrance, a member of staff (don’t know his name), seemed surprised to even see us there to begin with, smiled at the information that we weren’t given the menu, said “okay” when my partner told him that since no one came we were leaving. I don’t understand how there are 5 stars reviews on staff after being treated like this.More
We went to Mon Ami around Christmas Eve. I enjoyed very much this cozy place with the working fireplace. The personal was very friendly and open, serving us dishes with a great explanation. The food itself was delightful and amazingly served. We tried snails, oysters,...and fish. Everything was fresh and delicious. It is a bit expensive, but it was definitely worth it.More
Definitely the finest cuisine in Parnu. The food was absolutely perfect, really fine and original. The service was also absolutely perfect and the sourcing of ingredients also seemed quite sharp. The chef really has his own style and prepared some truly interesting meals. The only...negative point is that we have been served a medium rare meat when we asked a rare one. Also, I would definitely recommand the cheesecake to be served with a coulis, otherwise it can taste a bit dry. But a slight overcook is nothing about what all the restaurant has to offer. In definite, this restaurant is in many ways really close to lots of 1 michelin star restaurants I have been to. Thanks a lot for this moment.More
Thank you Louis. Your kind words make our day. We already shared your review with our team and it gives us motivation to push forward in these very challenging times. Best wishes!
The restaurant is so over-booked it cannot meet the demand. We had reservations on Saturday night and dinner arrived two hours after we had sat down. They have opened up a balcony and cannot handle all of the orders coming in. The Soviet days come...to mind when many items on the menu are "not available". Some of what is ordered they forget to bring to the table. Avoid the heartburn of eating here.More
Dear Hillar You visited us on Saturday evening, July 17th at 20:45 at the end of a very busy service day. Your complaint regarding the service times is correct. Nothing abnormal in terms of peak-summer Pärnu, but as we aim towards perfection, please accept our...More
I visited the restaurant expecting a romantic dinner. It was everything but that. Service was rude. As soon as I received my main course I noticed a long black hair in it. Waitress who brought that to us did not apologize the whole evening. Food...was average and in no way worth tha money. Kohutav koht! Teenindus on ebaviisakas ning toit ülimalt keskpärane. Minu pearoa sees oli pikk must karv. Ettekandja, kes meile toidu tõi isegi ei vabandanud selle pärast. Toidu hinnad on kallid ja üldse mitte seoses toidu kvaliteediga.More
Dear Triin If this is how you feel and how you want to express it, so let it be. God bless you in your politeness (opposite for being rude). We truly apologize that we could not meet your Expectations. We hope your next restaurant visit...More
Excellent food and great service. Nice ambiance. Tables seem quite high though vs chair height at least in corner table we were seated at. Beautiful setting
Visited the restaurant on December 2020. Was pleased with the atmosphere and friendly service. Food was gorgeous. Food size meals and rich taste. Got a compliment from the chef as it was our wedding anniversary. Recommend!
Mon Ami did great in all ways. The service was very good and professional, very genuine and attentive. The atmosphere was also cosy and suitable for a romantic dinner. Definitely make reservations since it’s quick and easy to do it online. I recommend the scallops...and mussels.More
First of all it is sad to see all the bad comments here because we had such an amazing experience in Mon Ami restaurant. We had our little honeymoon in Pärnu and this was the first restaurant that we visited on our first night there....Yes it was in the middle of the week (in the middle of August) but it was still quite crowded and we had the last available table. Boef was one of the best we have had. But my main - the lamb fillet with rosemary sauce..oh wow! I still dream about this sauce because it was so amazing - so full of flavor and depth - divine Also had some Cosmopolitans that were made very well. Service was super - the girl was very attentive, friendly and good to talk to. I do not put 5-star reviews easily but this restaurant is totally worth it. Thank you!More
We had our last evening at Estonia and wanted to eat something special in long term. Because covid, we wanted to eat outside. This place had two free tables at outside. We were 2 adults and 1 children. Before sitting down i asked from the...waiter do you have free tables (wanted to be polite), he showed us small table for two persons. I said im sorry but we dont fit there its too small. So the waiter said: oh but you can still try to fit there. So there was free table for 2 person and free table for 6 person. The waiter didnt want to give us the bigger table, even when we were 3 person group. Is it just greedy or does this place treats children like air?More
Dear Ida, mentioning covid and children, you must be a caring person. However, someone not even trying food or service we offer, but writing this revenge review for the rest of the world? Arriving in the middle of peak season, on prime time, without reservation...More
Very nice cozy restaurant and good tasty food. Service was 5 star, friendly and professional. We really liked the place. Only reason for 4 star was price level, otherwise perfect
We had made a reservation for family dinner at Mon Ami on Friday evening. From the start it was a disaster. The girl who was our waitress kept forgetting us , the drinks we ordered, constantly had to remind her. To start off we ordered...a bottle of wine. She forgot about that, then once we got the wine it was corked. Finally we got a our wine. We waited for our starters for a long time, finally they arrived but not the kids food. I’ve never heard of kids food arriving much later than adults food. The chips took over an hour to arrive! She also forgot our beer and kids juice. Had to be reminded again. After waiting for our main courses for 2 hours we asked to speak to the manager as at this point we were so fed up and it was getting really late and we had lost our appetite so we decided to wait a bit longer but still no sign of our food we asked if we could leave. We paid our bill and left. There was no apology from anyone or any compensation. The worst dinner experience in Estonia. Safe yourself and go to another restaurant where you can actually eat!More
Dear Helen. There are two sides to every coin. With respect to your opinion, we find your judgement emotional and unfair. Your group of 7 guests did arrive at 20:30 on Friday, August 07th. Probably the busiest evening in the whole year, in the summer...More
