Set in very nice scenic surrounding, this old farm restaurant looked great from the start. The chef himself greeted us on the driveway, asking us to move the car, no joke about it. He serves a very decent 4 course menu, with LOCAL produce, only...naming the main ingredients when asked for in advance. His wine pickings where very well chosen, they fit well with the dishes. His behaviour was very unusual, a bit blunt, but that was part of the overall experience. The first 3 courses where very good, the dessert wasnt. Also, the digestives (after dinner drinks) he served where infused and not home made, as he suggested they where. We had a great dinner and a good laugh. Tammuri is very lively place situated on the farm of the owner. Erkki is very uncommon chef. He has no menu - you know what you will eat only when you are already sitting at the table. You cannot just step in at random time...- you have to write in advance and ask when can you come. But all these is totally irrelevant, as food is great, service is great and Erkki is just charming :) Highly recommend.More

If you want Michelin star like experience with an South-Estonian twist, this is the place. Intimate place to get touched by the tastes of everything that grows in Estonian woods and land. Personal service. You leave there with a great feeling. Highly reccommended.

I would say that this it the best restaurant in the whole sounth-estonia. Erki is very personal chef and he finds time to introduce his food to every visitor. Very nice surroundings and premises.

Simple yet beautiful location not far from town Otepää. Owner-chef-host takes good and personal care of every single person and if one clicks with him and the atmosphere it will be the dinner to remember. And most of all, foods are delicious, not simple farm...food but true gourmet that is good to look at and tastes as good as it looks. One never knows what to expect as there aint any fixed menu and chef provides according to the best produce and inspiration that he has. Ps. Need to book prehand!More

We had a family lunch mid June 2014 and the food, service, interior was above expectations. The food, service and surrounding is very personal and intimate. You eat what is served, and we did not disappointed, on the controversy. The table needs to be booked...beforehand and in general 50 EUR per person is the whole set.More
