History, local culture and fine dining come together in this rural restaurant. Erkki the chef (and fourth generation at this family farm) brings all together with humour and panache. We went as a small group of about 12 and were treated to a fixed menu...which was like a top end tasting menu but with a normal number of courses. Very good and interesting (some unusual) wine pairings were provided if you wished (we had two very interesting italian whites followed by a Rioja). Local specialities included on the menu and local homemade flavoured vodkas (lingonberry, raspberry, blueberry, etc) also offered after dinner. All courses were superbly prepared and presented. The whole caboodle with three wines and a liqueur came to about Euros 55 which I thought was a bargain for the quality, experience and range of tastes.More
