No one came to give the menu or had no interest what so ever why I was sitting on the table and waiting... 20 minutes and there was 2 tables outside and 1 inside .... when I finally asked the bar .. then I was...told. “ you can order at the bar” this is a kind of 4* Spa Hotell Restaurant in an Estonian beach resort by the beach.. So I left, said no thank you, told I will leave a review.. they didn’t (the waitress at the bar) even care...no apology, nothin, no customer service... also at the same time they were not short of staff ., 5 people walking around .. slowly, Doing nothing.. one even kept looking at her watch..:/ Saying that ... we have been there previous years and it’s been OK... nothing amazing but tolerable.More

We dined here for one night since we were staying in the spa hotel and decided to pamper our self to a la carte instead of the buffet. Unfortunately things did not go well. The waiter asked us to use numbers of portions as we...made our order, should have sounded the alarm bells at this stage. Obviously there was a language barrier that was vider than we understood (spoke english). The waiter did not seem to understand when I explained a fish allergy. For starters we order 3 bruschettas (nro 3 on the menu) (one without bacon) and wine nro 5. We were brought 2 bruschettas and s fish dish nro 5. Never got the wine and send the fish back. We did receive the bottle of wine for the main course, which was professionally opened but not tasted. We ate the two starters while our son was waiting for his. Next we were brought one duck and one pasta (we ordered two ducks and one pasta). They told us the other duck would be brought shortly. While I was waiting for my main the duck and the pasta were consumed. Only after the two mains were eaten they brought the missing starter bruschetta. Unfortunately still no duck. After a total hour of waiting the duck arrived, overcooked like the first one, but at that point I was happy to eat anything. They also asked at this point if we still wanted the white wine for the starters. I nearly burned my fuse right there and then, but managed to decline somewhat politely. Not a happy night, not a happy family, not a happy customer. Happy to get out eventually, so will not be returning to this establishment. The food was half way decent, but not fine dining. More like warmed up frozen stuff. Temped to give them a one star but even after all this even I think it would be too cruel.More

Food was tasty and price really affordable. Waitress - very polite and charming. Also hotel/spa itself is a good place to relax.

We called approx 20 minutes ahead that a small group of 13 colleagues would like to have dinner. By the time we arrived, a nice long table was set up for us - just beautiful. The main courses were tasty and reasonably priced, though the...medium cooked duck was pretty "well done". Also the chocolate cakes were expected to be a bit more liquid inside. But otherwise we really enjoyed the place and the time there. Great staff and service, 10 out of 10 points :)More

We were on a bike trip around the Western Estonia Islands. So we were generally tired at night and preferred to eat at or near our hotels. This was the second of six meals we ate at spa hotels in Estonia. Some of the restaurants...had multiple hotels. But in each case the best of the restaurants were quite good. They generally have local ingredients well prepared and flavored. If we had to pick from the 6 Bergeldt would probably be on the bottom, but it was still excellent and better than almost every non-spa hotel we ate at.More

Nothing to complain after several visits - always go there when have to choose a place in Haapsalu because very many of them have awful service. In Bergfeldt service is superior every time. A great role model for other places in Haapsalu. Food also great...and affordable prices.More

Restaurant has very high level of service and quality of food, though prices are not very high at all. When we took dishes from a la carte, all portions were big and very unusually served, with different herbs. Everything was very tasty! Also we had...buffet once, it was quite usual (meat, salads, pasta), but also tasty, and can be good option (it was 15 euros, including drinks and dessert). In Haapsalu there is no big choice of restaurants for dinner, and this place is highly recommended, especially if you stay in the hotel.More

We stayed in a same hotel and we had two buffet dinners and two breakfast in this restaurant so I can't evaluate a la carte part. In first evening food was really good but there weren't too much options. Desert and chicken were really good....In second evening food was more average- it was ok but nothing exceptional.More
