The restauration looks very good. The waiters are very kind and menu is big. I saw a kitchen , there is correct higiene. I had a beef meat and it was delischous. If somebody came to this restaurant he should try it.
We came here for lunch based on the menu I saw previously. I ordered the curry with prawns and my husband had the mixed grill. We both absolutely loved the food, the prawns were good size and tasted well, the curry sauce was excellent. My...husband loved his meat and chips. The outdoor setting was great, we enjoyed the autumn sunshine as everyone else. The background music was not loud. The service was without a smile but we didn't mind as we came here for food which did not disappoint.More
I think it is all about looks in Libertin. My host wearing a suit reminding me a bit of a rabbit from Alice in Wonderland. perfectly quiet, agrreable and discreet. The music is a disco or electro type I would not be able to recognise...but still not bothering - modern background easy to ignore or go by. I pick the place because there is few fried or cheese coated heavy fast food disasters in a menu. I go for a shrimp curry and green tea. They arrive immediately which is not a good sign. Here is what I mean. The rice is sticky but definitely taken out of a microwave. The proportion of veg to sause makes it impossible to eat my dish with fork and knife European style. It is also not possible to use rice to collect the sauce. It melts in it. Menu says batata chips go with it. Yeap. There is a batata chips. One. Not really crispy but I guess I shall start with that before it soaked. Shrimps taste nice. My plate is red ramen something style. I notice that cutlery was actually served on an Asian style plate too. I dare to ask for sticks -but no. The do not have. I am hungry and despite to finish my dish with dignity- I continueto use a fork as a spoon. Curry is very tasty, I am even glad I get parsnip instead of corriander, just because I am alergic to the latter. Tea is served in a french press and there is a coffee pattern on my tea cup. Lemon slice is already put in it and I am not sure if I shall take it out to taste real tea or trust my host and take it with lemon. It is warm and I need it. Nevermind. The place feels cozy and you can leave safely your clothes at the entrance. They do not mind dress code and one may read or use mobile phones at the table. They offer famous old style landrines treat to go. I remember the specific taste from childhoot. I enjoy that after all. The building maintenance noise stopped at that time.More
Great kitchen, great place. Quick, nice, cozy. Good service good food. Really nice place to eat and drink. Waiters also very kind.
We visited for a bottle of wine and some dessert and we were not disappointed at all. The staff were friendly and spoke a good level of English to assist with ordering. We sat outside and were were kept warm by a heater and blankets....I would recommend the chocolate brownie. I will visit again.More
