I was looking for a place to celebrate my birthday with a couple of friends and found this bar. We loved the beer selection so much we ended up staying the whole night. We had planned every beer in a different location!

I went there because TripAdvisor advised is the best place. I agree they have many beers and good location but they is no pub atmosphere inside, the very bright light and inner design cause that I don't want to stay there. Additional smell was like...in swimming pool, maybe they had the plumbing problem. I don't write it you shouldn't go there, I add my opinion because I believe that owner can change it and make that place better.More

Nice modern craft brewery, where the serve 4 types of beers, burgers and traditional beer snacks. Very simple design, new modern and clean. Good beer. If you want to have a beer and some snacks this is the place to visit.

If you would like to have a great beer, Buchwaldhaus ist the best place! Beer and atmosphere there were great, I really recommend it.

A lovely place in the center of Spisska Nova Ves. The locally brewed beer is great (non pasteurized!); you can even take a few pints with you in a freshly drafted bottles. If you come to town, don’t miss out on this place.

They had three beers on tap; two they brew, standard Slovakian lager at different strengths and a guest IPA from Czech, which was very good! Pleasant place with good service. We didn't eat as there are many good restos around!

I recommend to everyone who loves great beer. Friendly, home atmosphere and nice people all around you. If you are hungry take Buchvald burger, which I love. If you are little bit bored you can try to play chess and with the best local craft...beer you will be the best player ever :DMore

I love this local and friendly restaurant, which serves great beer from its own local brewery and you can really feel it in the taste! Good atmosphere, friendly stuff and good snacks and food is what makes us always come back. You can also buy...this beer as takeaway in PET bottles for later. :) Only "drawback" is that with more people it gets a little noisy, but on the other hand I guess it only creates the right "pub" feeling.More
