Randomly stopped into this cool restaurant as the kids were hoping for burgers for lunch. Excellent all around! Good food, great beer on tap, and terrific service. Had a good chat with the owner, great people working hard for 5+ years to make a successful casual spot with tasty comfort food. Looks like it would be a great place for watching futbol or other sporting matches. We’ll be back!

Great local beer and great food (hermelin, dumplings) in ambient atmosphere. Very good music. You can also watch sports games.

Delicious food, good prices, kind service. We tried it 3 times and we were always satisfied. You have to try pork ribs, that was our favourite 😉.

Greeted nicely by staff then given an English menu to peruse. Had a great bottle of white wine, beef goulash with steamed dumplings and pork loin in creamy mushroom sauce with roast potatoes. Very impressed. Staff checked we were happy with everything and were on hand when we wanted the bill. Would definitely return.

A great place to dine out on the main street leading to the main square in Poprad.
Pint of Urpiner beer only €1.40 and giant hamburger with chips for €8.90
We went back a second night. No problem with English and good service. Tables can fill uo early evening so get there early. Great place for people watching. At the relatively low prices one of the best ding options in Poprad. Sorry we din not try it earlier in the week. To finish the locals got their ice cream cones from shop across the road and sat down again in the restaurant - a constant que for ice cream on a hot sunny day

Hodovna was a decent drinking/dining spot with a slightly better location closer to the town center but service was food preparation took a long time with the taste not being able to compensate for the long wait time. Service was friendly though.

We were on a visit with friends we tasted the street food it was excellent and the burgers were good. a great churros and beer.

The servers were very corteous, polite a quick to help with everything - that is a huge plus as Slovakia is not known for class customer service.
The food however was a tad disappointing. The garlic soup served in a bread bowl was very weak and resembled a potato soup more than anything. The bean soup with smoked meat and sausage contained no meat whatsoever. Also, the beer mugs kept arriving emptier and emptier as the evening progressed.
Considering the decent kids corner, there are no facilities to change a child and we had to improvise and do it between the sinks in the toilets. Other guests ended up changing their child on the bench at their table! Not a pleasant sight in a restaurant.
Overall, the kids had a great time and enjoyed playing with all the toys available, the atmosphere in the place is good and unpretententious. With some small improvements in terms of children facilities and food this place has a great potential!

My expectations of this place were quite high and I managed to visit for my last meal in Poprad.
Staff was welcoming and the place is clean. The food was nice but honestly, not 'all it'. I would come back again on another occasion, I think.
