One of the best restaurants in Poprad

This was a wonderful hidden gem we found in Poprad. Everything was great: the food, the place, the service, the atmosphere. La Primavera is a small, true Italian restaurant located near the Poprad river and the city center. If you're ever in Poprad (or the Presov region) then you have to pay them a visit. We went there and were blown away by the exquisite food. We had a minestrone (which was full of flavors and colors), an anchovy and vegetables pizza (which was light and savory), pork with a side of mashed potatoes (which my wife said were really good) and a tiramisu (which was delicate and delicious). They have a lot of pizzas and other dishes in their menu (and all of them look and sound amazing) and we'll definitely come back to try more. The drinks menu is also really diverse, containing excellent Italian coffee, natural juices and different alcoholic beverages. Overall this is definitely a place to check out: you won't be disappointed.

Amazing !

Not only we had amazing time visiting the mountains but we also had an amazing food at la primavera restaurant in Poprad. The restaurant was looking great and the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Me and my son ordered pasta and my husband had an amazing pizza. The food tasted delicious and the presentation was spot on. The cost of all the food was really good as well. As we were about to leave the chef came from the kitchen and welcomed us and asked if we enjoyed our meals. If you are a huge fan of Italian food you should definitely visit as well.

Fresh and genuine italian cuisine - TOP!

The best surprise in Poprad we could have hoped for! Absolutely delicious food, fresh and genuine italian ingredients, delicious pizza- the best we had in Slovakia so far. Very cosy atmosphere and professional waitresses upgraded this food experience to perfection. Amazing that we still have some people in Slovakia who are passionate about food and service, bringing great experience to their customers. Cary on what you are doing because you are doing it perfectly! Thank you

Best Italian ever who would have guessed.

Went as a party of 4 guys and the food was astonishingly good and the value even more so!! The starters at 8 euros each we had a beef cappachio with rocket and Parmesan / a mixed anti pasta of meats / a mixed platter of cheese and a soup, all three of the plates looked like a platter for 3 or 4 people. We then had three pizzas 13 euros each and a pasta dish. We all agreed the pizzas which were huge were as good as we have ever had!! Go there if in Poprad

A hidden little Italy in an inconspicuous part of town

The restaurant is probably owned by an Italian, we had the same feeling. It really works according to the Italian recipe, not so Slovak Italian. The menu is also in English. The food was Italian-style, well-tasted with quality ingredients. A very large selection of food (but they had all the dishes we wanted), mainly Italian dishes but also some others. It may not look inviting from the outside, but inside is a very nice interior with a pleasant atmosphere. It is a relatively small restaurant, so we recommend ordering if there are more people in town (Fridays, holidays). We felt very comfortable in the restaurant and it will certainly not put Italian restaurants in Slovakia to shame. On the contrary. A real Italian restaurant in a smaller Slovak town is not such a common thing, good job. We have been to many Italian restaurants in Italy so we know what we are talking about :)

Mind-blowing pizza

Very wide pizza selection, we had siciliana and capricciosa and it was simply amazing! Picca crust is perfect. Pastas were superb too, very well boiled and prepared. Really good place to have a pleasant relaxing dinner. Oh and service was a top notch, cudos to the girls working there!!

Great food for decent price

We did visit the place for dinner - was not far away from our hotel close to city center. We chose it because of the good reviews and found it nice. We took a pizza and a soup and all was tasty. You have to consider that place can be crowded and it might be hard to find a place. Also - they might lack people, so you might need to seat yourself. Once they took the order - all came pretty quickly. Great food and decent price.

Great pizza in Tatras area

I was searching TripAdvisor for a pizzeria for dinner and was sold on the reviews. The restaurant lived up to the hype. It’s a cute and clean place, with freshly made pizza that tastes like it’s made in a wood burning oven, and a nice crust - on the thinner side, but it supports the toppings. We ordered a pizza each (the tricolore, which is spinach and ricotta that were dolloped in heaping spoonfuls across the pizza, and freshly sliced tomatoes that were piled into the center and could have lived without). H ordered the ham and mushroom pizza and was very satisfied. There are about 6 pages of pizza options on the menu, so it was hard to choose! We also ordered a small Italian salad which was more like a couple handfuls of lettuce mix drizzled with balsamic vinegar. Plus a beer and a soft drink, the total came out to about 24 euros, and we came out full and satisfied.

We have found this restaurant via TripAdvisor as one of the best restaurants in Poprad and its true. Restaurant is small but very cosy with friendly atmosphere and great staff. First time we have ordered pizza and to be honest - i haven't seen so many pizza to choose from. Pizza was very delicious and from quality ingredients. On our second visit we have ordered pasta and as pizza - pasta was delicious (balanced flavours, tasty,..) we will definitely visit again.
