Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Everything was great until I got the check. I was charged double for my two glasses of wine. On the menu it said two euros for 0,10 1 of wine. On my check it had exactly the same measurement but I was charged 4 euros...per glass. I asked for a correction and the bartender started yelling at me about how my glasses were two deciliters. I showed that it said exactly on the check what was printed on the menu, and he argued with me and said I got more. I said that’s not what I asked for and they wouldn’t give me my money back. Beware if you are foreign! They will rob you!More

After baths in Aquacity I usually eat at Koliba. Selection of meats, pirohy (local raviolis), soups, fried cheese and desserts. The prices are decent and service is quick. Local beers and spirits available.

I can say that our experience in Koliba Kamzik was pleasant yet disappointing in the end. The service was excellent, the food was delicious. We ordered vegetarian food and 2 glasses of wine. Wine by the glass (the wine costed €1.10 per 100ml). Wine was...served. In the end, the bill marked 4x €1.10 = 400ml for 2 glasses of wine. We spoke to the waiter and he simply replied that wine is served for 200ml. Checking out the wine capacity served, it was less than 200ml. Not complaining for the €1.10 difference but for the lack of mistrust in financial issues. For me this lost the customer service relationship in the end.More

We were there twice and every time food was delicious. Koliba offers a traditional cuisine. A wide variety of meals, well-made and interestingly composed caused that if we had one more opportunity to eat in Poprad, the Koliba will be the 1st choice.

I was impressed about the Koliba restaurant. Local food, very tasty, and very affordable. It is not fancy at all, but even the decoration fits with the surrounding. It may not be for everyone but worth trying.

We were recommended this place by a local, who said it had the best pizza in town. So expectations were high. The restaurant is tiny (5-6 tables), and much more a 'beer place' than a restaurant it appears. We were 3 kids & 4 adults,...ordered quickly and told them to - if possible - serve the kids first. We waited 50' - asked twice if they could please speed up the kids' meals (Schnitzel & fries). We were told that they'd only 2 people in the kitchen cooking, so no option to speed things up. Pizzas finally arrived - they were good, average, but nothing extraordinary. If you come for beers, bring ample time with you, and are not half-starved and/or not a pedantic Pizza enthusiast, it's worth trying. Prizes are reasonable.More

First experience of Slovak food and I loved it. The venison goulash with dumplings was delicious, I'll have to try cook it when I go back home. The interior is quite quirky, and very much feels like a mountain chalet. Service was quick and bill...quite cheap.More
