I read that the waiting time was high from other reviews, and decided to review the place myself. The place was empty when me and my girlfriend went in, so it's only us in the restaurant. Great, super friendly staff, the menu is really detailed...(no english menu, detailed in slovak), clean bathroom, and suuuper delicious food. we ordered the coconut soup, my girlfriend really enjoyed it (im not a coconut type). Im not a big fan of sushi, but it was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. We ordered the Salmon & Avocado combination (8 pieces) and the tuna sushi (8 pieces). the waiting time for us was around 15 minutes, which is average/faster than average. I highly recommend for all of the sushi lovers out there. I'll definitely come again if im around. Almost forgot: we got coupons somewhere else (20% off for each one of us, so it was literally 40% off the meal) and ended up paying 8€ in total for everything :) This place is literally a have-to-visit place if you love sushi. 5/5.More

Staff was quick and nice. It took little bit longer to prepare food even when we were alone in the restaurant. Taste was ok but portion was small. Sake Maki was tiny, i would say 1/3 of regular size. Could use more ginger for 2...persons as well. For nearly 25€ we were leaving still little hungry. Overall it was good but once was enough.More

Famous indeed... In case you were near Poprad, you shouldnt miss the opportunity of visiting Fajna Rybka. We really enjoyed sushi also udon was great. Dont miss the opportunity!

That was an amazing food and very friendly service. We were in Poprad only few days but this one restaurant were on our daily program. We can just recomend.

Best Udons, great staff. Recommended 100% Coz place, more of like stylish Bistro. We enjoyed our meals, udon, rice and sushi. Everything was delicious. Waitress was explaining a lot about the meal.

We went there accidentally and after this experience I want to learn how to cook Tom Yum soup because it was The Most delicious soup I've eaten lately! The sushi was fresh and great! I wish my hometown had a place like this!

They were very welcoming, one guy knew English, food was good, we had sushi which was good, and a chicken curry that was great, didn't taste like a Thai curry but good as it is.

My wife and I discovered this sushi restaurant by accident. We had just parked at the MAX shopping Mall in Poprad and saw the restaurant on the fringe of the parking area. Just what we wanted after 17 days of eating only Central European food....The two young men running the operation spoke enough English to help us with the menu so we could choose all our normal Japanese favourites. We had shrimp and salmon tempura and a 16 piece sushi set that comprised about 5 or 6 different items. We also ordered two pieces of the quite expensive salmon roe sushi. The presentation of all dishes was superb and a higher standard than one usually gets in Western Europe, Nth America or Australia. My only negative that almost all fish was lightly seared or in the case of the Tempura, terribly over cooked. Serving sizes and prices were pretty good. On balance however, we were delighted with our lunch and wholeheartedly recommend the Fajna Rybka Sushi Restaurant in Poprad.More
