Stopped by for a lunch and we enjoyed it. Location is very nice and there are also some deer outside. Food was good, service was good, I don't have really anything to complain about.
The restaurant is set in beautiful nature and is really nicely built. First impressions great. A birthday treat for our son can’t have started better. However, that’s all that I can be positive about. We could not agree more with all of the negative comments...left by the dissatisfied diners - long waiting times to order, food about average, mostly cold, took 40 minutes to arrive only to realize the wrong accompaniment was served. Replacement took another 20 minutes to come by which time the meal had gone completely cold. When complaining to the senior waitress acting as the manager I was accused of misplacing my order in the first place. Our complaints about the quality of the meals were largely ignored and the waiting times were blamed on the high number of restaurant guests. The ‘manager’ was incredibly argumentative. We expressed our disappointment and a decision not to come and eat there again to which she responded by saying that I did as I pleased. I thought that by threatning to post a negative review online I would make her come to her senses. I was wrong. Her reply? - ‘Suit yourself!’ Difficult to say whose fault it was – whether of the staff or the management as the management was not available for comment. All in all, we think you can do better with your money than come and spend it at Furman.More
We attended a large party in early August and although food was pre-ordered service was very slow. The food was typical Slovak fare and was good, but nothing extraordinary. The biggest problem was the lack of either A/C or simple movement of air as it...was a very hot day and the inside became unbearable for some of us.More
Went to Furman for lunch, enjoyed the nice surroundings and good food. As a result, booked Birthday party dinner for my daughter for 18 people. Despite having pre-ordered our meals, the service was terrible. We have one inexperienced waiter for the whole table, food was...late and some was cold by the time everyone was served. Had to order the same drinks multiple times before served. Very disappointing.More
What a great place to stop after some travels. Some animals and park for the kids are on the property. We ate as a family of 4. Service was prompt. Food was good. Halusky made with potatoes, no flour. Great garlic cream soup. Decent Gordon...bleu and can’t go wrong with their fried cheese. Would come here again and recommend to foreign visitors and natives for a great Slovak meal.More
Real cool place with authentic Slovak cuisine and picturesque environment neighboring recreational park with deers.
Visited this place about a month ago with some friends and our little ones. While the restaurant is situated in a lovely nature, the scenery is absolutely amazing, the food is a let down. My partner ordered a chicken dish which was very dry -...over cooked, and my ‘halusky’ dish didn’t contain enough cheesy sauce ‘bryndza’.More
Quite unfriendly service and the waiting time can be very long if couple of tables accupied. The food is OK but the final impression is quite bad due to the unfriendly stuff.
The restaurant has tables and wooden benches, birds and other stuffed animals on the walls. You can also sit on the terrace outside. For the opening we took creamy garlic soup 2.1 €, it was very tasty. They also brought bread for soup. We thought...it included because we did not order bread, but they are charging for bread additionally. The soup was delicious. Recommended. We were 4 people and we ordered 4 different dishes: divine goulash - 8.6€, was tasty but not something special. 500g pork rib (but we get 300g roasted pork rib) - 8.6 €, a very small dish. In Prague was better. Roasted lamb shank - 13.5 €, it was the most successful and most delicious dish. And roasted thong of Daniela with forest mushrooms- 11.1 € . 2 slices of plain meat. Not tasty. Not really worth it. Some of the dishes come with no extras. We ordered one serving of potatoes in rosemary - 1.8 € and one serving of baked vegetables - 3.3 €. For dessert we took ice cream 4.5€ and hot raspberries with ice cream and vanilla 4 €. You can give up hot raspberries. We paid 70 euros for 4 people including a bottle of beer 1.9€ and a bottle of sprite 1.6€. This is our impression. Getting to a restaurant by taxi from the Esplanade hotel costs 7 euros. I attach photographs of dishes and the restaurant. There are many other dishes that may be tastier. And of course, everyone has his own taste so….. For your consideration.More
Lovely deer farm, cozy setting, great service by the university graduate from Rovno, Ukraine, Masha. Delicious food and cheap drinks, perfect evening with Alexey and Svetlana from St. Petersburg Russia.
The food is average, view and location is beautifull, lots of parking spots. Popular for weddings. But the service. One waitress was polite and nice, but another one with worst attitude I remember by far, can destroy whole experience and demolish the rating. I felt...sorry for the nice one, that she lost lot of tips because of the unpolite one. It has potential for 4 stars with better staff.More
We were eating at this nicely located restaurant just outside Piestany, in the hills, nice walk. They have good local food, I hade tasty game fillet. Started with a good draft Czech beer, followed by local wine and completed with something stronger. Friendly waiter. With...our friends we had a nice evening at perfect location with agreeable prices.More
We came without reservation for dinner time (i..e 5 PM) with our friends who have already been visited Furman before. All dishes was very taste but roast pork ribs - especially. Pork knee roasted in beer was taste also but portion was excessive even for...me. Red wine will be nice with meat as well.More
