Had dinner at the restaurant. The food was delicious. The waiter was very polite but had some difficulties talking in English. 😁but I guess that is not much off an issue. The thing that I was not entirely pleased with, was that the waiter brought the wine bottle already opened to the table. Personally I would have preferred to watch the waiter open the wine bottle at the table, before me.Other than that, the food and the restaurant was great.

Everything was perfect, from large breakfast choice, to easy lunch between slopes, great ski bar for après ski drinks and cozy and warm restaurant for nice dinner.
Great wine and champagne selection, and menu changes every day, with vegetarian selection !
We had a fantastic stay and food experiences.

Reading the previous TA reviews: we opted out for this FIS place..one of top 3 for fine dining. Well, the food was awesome, but the service was virtually non-existent. The waitress showed up once...and then never again...for one and a half hours. I had to finally get up and order an expensive bottle of Italian wine from the bar. At the end, nobody asked us for desert or espresso...we had to walk to the front hotel desk to pay.
This is not a fine dining experience....most foodies, know, 1/2 of the food experience is the service. This place totally doesn’t get this: it still stuck in post-communism service era.
For better service, walk down to Angus..or even the good ole Hotel Druzba. Not as good food, but defined won’t leave you feeling agitated and pissed why you spend $200 for nothing.

The food here was interesting, meaning that the chef tryed to offer a different take on food than on other restaurants in the mountain area.
The food is tasty and looks very nice but being there for sports at the end of the day you feel like eating something a bit more consistent, or a bit more. But that was just our opinion, others may like it just because it is so sophisticated.
The atmosphere is nice, very contemporary. The staff has the same problem as everywhere in the slovakian mountain hotels, they are not friendly and don't speak english.

as Fis sells themselves as gastronomic experience, I requested vegan meals for my stay and Ive got positive reply that they are able to make up vegan meals for me, I requested it two weeks before the stay. Upon arrival, I was asked which food from the menu (pretty much full of meat and diary products) I wanted. Since my health conditions is a alergy, i could afford to eat not totaly vegan meals, even though I should not. The stuff was willing to help with my choices of meals, but they were not prepared for it at all with the products, such as soy sour cream or milk or more vegetable sources. Also for breakfast, simple box of soy milk would help or bigger selection of fruit. The gastronomic experience was terrible.
Otherwise hotel is very nice, has a good location and people were very nice.

The service, food, price and quality are all very good here. its well decorated with a nice ambience. the only issue is sometimes getting hold of the waiter/waitress who are very busy.

Each dish very nicely done, great sense of aesthetics and staraność what to look but at the same time tasty and large portions.
