We arrived at the restaurant as a party of 11 without a reservation. We were very EAL my received and the staff could not have done any more to accommodate us. The restaurant is modern and stylish and spotlessly clean. We ordered a range of dishes from the very reasonably priced menu, from traditional meat feast to pizza to pasta to vegetarian noodles. The service was impeccable and the waitress helped us to choose a delicious Slovakian wine. The food was delicious- every dish was well presented and full of flavour. We could not recommend this restaurant highly enough.

Delicious food, great service.

We were a big group of people, adults and children, still all our dishes were perfectly prepared. The staff was very helpful and service oriented. Liptovska Izba is one of our top restaurants in Liptovsky Mikulas, for sure we will visit this restaurant once again.

Vegetarian options

The staff was amazing and very welcoming. I came in for a quick lunch, I was attended to as soon as I showed up. They were knowledgeable about the food and options for vegetarians. I opted for mushroom pasta, and the chef was kind enough to make changes to it to make it vegetarian friendly. I look forward to come back to try more of their delicious dishes!

We spent a good time in your restaurant with our friends. Good atmosphere and brilliant staff. Girl who served us last night was very friendly and helpful . She speaks Russian very well. Food arrived quick and was tasty but unfortunately we all found it too salty. We ordered mushroom soup and homemade potato pancakes with cheese and bacon. Both dishes over salted.

Great place to try the unique “liptovske droby”

Came to lunch to try the typical specialty of the Liptov region, now a protected unique dish (a sausage casing stuffed with a potato filling mixed with herbs, pork rinds, pork fat and other secret ingredients. Very tasty!). We sat upstairs, in the modern but cozy dining room. Pleasant and attentive staff. Very good mulled wine and tasty soups. Lovely “mangalitsa carpaccio” appetizer (gourmet sliced lard/bacon). Generous portions, reasonable prices. Would definitely return to try their game dishes.

Fantastic place in Liptovsky Mikulaš

The restaurant offers traditional Slovak cuisine. Halušky are one of the best I have ever had. Liptovské dzvony - dumplings filled with meat were also tasty. Good selection of drinks. Exceptional service!

After a family visit to a nearby Waterpark we wanted a hearty meal to satisfy the following hunger pangs. We'd tried to get into another Salas/Koliba style, typical Slovakian, restaurant but they had finished serving for the day so we turned to Trip Advisor for help! This restaurant ticked enough boxes so we headed here... Situated in the town's square the outside tables were mostly taken but we wanted to sit inside anyway. I'm English, my wife is Slovakian, so language wasn't a problem but I felt it wouldn't have been anyway. From start to end the various staff we encountered were pleasant, helpful & efficient. One point to note was the lack of card payment so cash only! This did affect our choices without wanting to find a cash point. However, all five of us were pleased with our choices from pizza to chicken schnitzel to bread crumbed cheese! A local bespoke beer was recommended & was very good. As was the locally produced walnut brandy..! I would have probably tried something higher up the price banding if card payment was possible although nothing was really expensive. In the end we had a great meal & time within this restaurant & the waiters were good fun too!

Warm friendly with good food

Very nice little restaurant. Staff were warm and friendly. We enjoyed traditional Slovak food, well presented and very enjoyable. Beer and wine excellently priced as well as a few extra liquors for some fun! Would highly recommend if you want some traditional food and the ribs and duck were also excellent.

Great restaurant. Great service. And the pork shank is the best I've ever eaten, the portion is large and nicely served. Very nice and professional service. I recommend. The inability to pay by card does not detract from the advantages of this place.

Very good local food

It was a second time in Liptovska Izba. The dishes were large and tasty. Service was even better then last time. You can try local dishes (e.g. halusky) or european one (e.g deer stew).

Good lunch on the Main square

We took a trip to this town and found this restaurant on the Main square. It’s very popular because we had to wait for a free table. After some minutes we sat down outside. The waiters were very friendly and polite, they tried to speak Hungarian. We had a traditional Slovakian meal. It was great with some good draft beer. I recommend this place

Excellent Slovakian restaurant

We came to this restaurant every night of our 3 days in town...thought it was a tourist trap...well I can strongly recommend it. They get their fish fresh daily from the nearby lake, meat cooked to perfection, and classic local dishes...if I stayed 4 nights I'd be back..and excellent and friendly service.

The best restaurant in Liptovsky Mikulas. Super nice staff, very polite. Delicious food, reasonable prices. Food came very quickly, dishes are large. Excellent service. Good atmosphere. They offer international and traditional Slovak food. Totally recommendable.
