Good but not very good

I visited the restaurant in July 2022, also a delayed review. Small restaurant with 3 tables outside, 3 tables inside + seats at the sushi bar. Service was good The sushi was good, just good, not very good. Very small rolls. While making the order,...we thought that in 3 we would eat well. Unfortunately, for the price, in many other sushi restaurants you will eat twice as much. Perhaps it is the only sushi in town?More

Better than most of the sushi in Kosice!

Considering this is the only sushi place in Liptovsky Mikulas, I envy the locals :) We ordered online and had the food delivered to a nearby village after tiring ourselves out after a long hike. A lovely lady dropped the meal off in good time....What can I say? This was quite literally the best eel nigiri and sashimi we've eaten, as were the butter fish. The tuna and salmon were both great, too. All so fresh-tasting, and the cut of fish were quite generous, too. We were full up after eating, however we honestly wished we'd ordered more stuff as it was so tasty! We'll be ordering again from Alto next time we're in the area, for sure!More

Very nice sushi

We ordered a take out and it was very easy and well arranged. Upon arrival we needed to wait 5minutes and were treated to a glass of nice plum wine. Sushi was very nice.

Good choice 👍

Great choice for sushi lovers. It is not perfect but it is worth the price. Tom Yum soup with shrimp was great. Very tasty tempura (crispy)

Just sushi

We went there just because they have good reviews on tripadvisor. But in reality the service is good and the sushi is simple, ordinary.

Nothing special, just ok

Although we didn’t expect much, we were a little disappointed. Tom yum was spicy but that was it. Too much water, no proper ingredients, just 3 small prawns. Tuna tartare was mixed with some sauce for no obvious reason, you really couln’t feel the taste...of tuna. Maki with tuna and avocado were just a lot of rice and a small piece of tuna. Nothing to remember. Kimchi was not sour enough, though spicy. The best one was wakame salad, but it was not enough to give this place 4 stars. I would gladly pay more for a better sushi.More

Great experience

A small sushi restaurant with a great people. Staff is very friendly. Wait time is fine. Prices are reasonable. Sushi is not the greatest but for the price you pay you can’t expect anything more.

Had a wonderful dinner. Clean, fresh, owner are very friendly and food was delicious. Most of the menu is shushi.

Best sushi best atmosphere

We have been there after visited several restaurants in Slovakia, and this one is the best!! Nice food, nice atmosphere, nice hospitality. Very recommended!!!

LOCAL JAPANESE

Very nice small clean place in Liptovsky Mikulas. Onwers are Slovak but are very well dealing doing sushi. I chosen several different style between Sushi, Maki.. Every single one was properly explain and tasty.

Excellent despite being the only one in town

The first and only sushi place in town but definitely can present fierce competition to big metro famous sushi places! Excellent miso soup, great rolls and the fried coconut ice cream dessert was also delicious.

Excellent Sushi bar

We were on a family trip near Liptovsky Jan. It is 15 mins from there. Very good atmosphere, excellent service and awsome freshly made sushi.
