Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Quaint and homey, quick service with a very personable touch. We enjoyed the Mediterranean veggies with Parmesan cheese and the pork with mushroom sauce. We paired this with the Slovakian Cabernet for a fantastic evening.

Visited here for my wife's birthday as part of a few night stay in Kosice. Visiting from Liverpool, we picked this restaurant for our main "expensive" meal during our stay. Definitely picked the right establishment. The waiter provided his expert knowledge on the food and...we started with French onion soup and the snails. The starters were delicious. We then had lamb with spinach mash and medallions delicious with dauphinoise potato. Both starter and mains were delicious for us both. We would highly recommend this restaurant. Paid 62 euros for 2 two courses and four drinks. Compared to UK prices, this was an amazing price for amazing food.More

Amazing food, pleasant and fast staff and great location! My girlfriend and I had the best creamy mushroom soup in our lives! Next time when we visit Košice, we will return here.

We visited in June 2022, and had a lovely dinner. They spoke good English, and the service was great. For a meal with 3 drinks, 2 appetizers and 2 main courses, we spent around 30 euros. Especially the lemon risotto of the seasonal menu was...excellent, but in all, everything we ordered was delicious! Unfortunately we couldn't sit outside, but we also did not reserve a table up front. Would definitely recommend!More

I ordered the grilled vegetables and it was perfectly grilled & very tasty. We ordered the salmon tagliatelle which was with Asparagus and strangely with black and green olives. I put the olives aside and then it was good. The escargot was ok but don’t...expect parisien standard. The waiters recommendation was great for the main course. The service was fantastic and staff very friendly. The decorations were very nice and gave the colonial atmosphere.More

Very tasting and amazing food. Good service, but too strict with the "closing kitchen hours" and not serving anything else. None the less, to repeat

We had the french onion soup (I’ve eaten better), avocado-asparagus tartar (which was good) and pork with mushrooms sauce. I wasn’t impressed by any of the dishes. The service was decent and the prices were normal, beautiful interior design.

Excellent restaurant in hideaway at Main street, perfect international cuisine, bespoke french onion soup in bread and steaks. Ask for local wines (Tokay or Mrva Stanko cellar). Reserve your table in advance.

A classical restaurant with excellent food and kind service. My choice was veal steak medium rare in smoked salt with roasted cherry tomatoes and pepper sauce. The steak was perfect and a local slovakian Mrva&Stanko Cabernet Sauvignon was a nice surprise. When choosing this restaurant...you won't be dissappointed.More

One more time, kind and professional team, very careful and customer oriented. Nice, fresh and fine food and dishes, and very good prosseco! We enjoyed this diner, every minute. 4 starters, 4 main dishes, 4 deserts, 3 prosseco bottles, 1 expresso, 155 euros. Bit expensive...but quality is there!More
