A very good hamburger in Kosice

I've been there a couple of weeks ago during a business trip in Slovakia. This restaurant was suggested by a colleague, and he was definitely right: I had a very very good hamburger cooked to perfection, with a tasty sauce. French fries were excellent too and so the coleslaw. For sure when I'll be back to Kosice I'll go there again to try other meat cuts!

Very good evening. We didn't have a reservation but we managed to get in. It seems very busy. The food was good value and the service was excellent. Couldn't fault anything.

The food was great we've had a plate with 4 types of steak. The waiter knew everything about the food he was very kind and professional also the chef came out to make sure everything is okay after we finished.

Meat in itself good quality, only the preparation was not queried, meat practically raw and therefore inedible. Despite registration (group 22 people, one of them lactose intolerant) no dessert prepared without milk, e.g. fruits. Too bad, even on demand no reaction...

Bad "rare" state

We have visited the restaurant twice. Both occasions I asked for a rare steak. Sadly both times it was medium to done (no rare parts visible). On the second visit I complained. The waiter ask the kitchen and said "it is perfekt that way".

Darned good hanger steak!

We approached this restaurant with some trepidation because some of the Tripadvisor reviews were not very good. However I ordered the hanger steak and it was surprisingly good. Moreover the vegetables were excellent. Boiled vegetables, grilled vegetables, spinach with garlic, roasted mushrooms. And plentiful servings. All in all we’ve made a reservation for tonight.

The steak was tough, for a piece of prime meat it had way to much grizzle. Very disappointed in the guality of the meat. For the money it was not worth it. The meat was like a piece of choice not prime
