Ordered Champs-Élysées coctail

Ordered Champs-Élysées coctail which did not look like on the photo... quite boring. And had to wait 20 mins until they served us with a simple water and one coctail at 12 o clock. (3 guests except us). The waiters are kind and helpful but seems unexperienced. And the Eifel toweer with macaroons looks awfully unproffessional, please remove it 😅

Definitely the best desserts in Kosice

I visited Cafe de Paris many times. When I'm anywhere nearby I always try my best to visit this place because it's sooo worth it! Especially the Tropical egg and Guadeloupe is a must-try. Also do not forget to try some of their macarons, those are so yummy. During my last visit I wanted to taste the Napoleon cake as I heard it is an amazing dessert but it was sold out, hopefully will try it next time. Cafe de Paris also prepared a candy bar for our wedding, everyone was so impressed! Do not hesitate to visit this wonderful piece of Paris.

Best place for cakes in the town

Anytime we stop in Kosice this is the place to go for a good cake especially if you like exotic fruits flavors they have a very good choice. Fully recommended.

Not very hygienic

The waitress sneezed in her hand and then touched the wrapped up cakes I was buying and passed them to me. They were in a plastic wrapper but I still didn’t want to touch her spit basically. When I asked for disinfection wipes she just said don’t worry I am fully vaccinated and I only have a hay fever. Hmm, if I sneezed in to my hand and then used the same hand to pick out €10 note and handed it to her she may have not enjoyed the soggy money in her hand experience. I am fully vaccinated too and I wore a mask. Sneezing in to your hand and then used the same hand to hand a customer anything is never ok. And then have the cheek to say she is healthy. Disgusting sneeze spit on her hand isn’t ok. She never made an attempt to wash or clean her hands. I tell my children to wash their hands after sneezing or use disinfectant if you can’t wash your hands. Adults should know this. I think her boss should have a word with her. Sweets are good enough. 1) Please fix tour de eiffel (some macaroni on it was crushed) as soon as possible 2) Please make a special offer with discount - so next day all sweets will be fresh 3) more attention for you customers please

Quick snack in the heat of the day.

We sat outside the Cafe de Paris while the sun was at its hottest. We chose strawberry sorbet and coconut sorbet. Both really good and tasty. We had another helping along with some great cheesecake. Beers were chilled to perfection too. Lovely place to sit awhile and take everything in.

Disappointing

We we arrived we decided to sit in the seating outside. The staff were surly and every time we ordered anything from the menu it was not available. We ordered a fruit Crème Brûlée which was some sort of mousse dish and did not resemble a Brûléet except for being served in a ramekin. At least the Lemon Meringue was what it said it was. Service was so bad that after waiting over 20 minutes to pay my husband went in. Even more annoying as the wait staff were in a group chatting and laughing. My advice there are much better places to go.

Nice cafe in the square

We went at end of day so limited choice of cakes and pastries. However those they had were good and you could watch the world go by.

The pastries were not french, there were Italian cakes, American cakes and German, no french though. The only french thing was the macaroons, that were too thick to be real macaroons. The funniest thing was when I ordered a regular french pressed coffee and I received an Italian espresso where I had to add water in it myself

Cafe - pastry shop selling most of all the french style. Very good coffee and nice choice of drinks. Cakes miss more natural ingredients, except macarons.

Delicious macarons

Café de Paris has romantic, cozy interior (of course with picture of Eiffel tower on wall) just to perfect Parisian atmosphere was missing traditional French music. We had tasty coffee and macarons (I highly recommend you with chestnut) and of course are offered many others French sweets. Service was great, without any problem.

Beautiful cakes, but the staff...

Have been to Cafe de Paris multiple times over the last 3 years, but never again. The middle-aged lady (who seems to be married or somehow personally connected to the owner) is just not polite or customer-focused at all. It's not acceptable to make a customer wait a good 5 mins before giving out menus (especially if you have few customers in your cafe!) and hardly conducive to profit to never once ask your customer if they want to order anything else once you've handed them their initial order. Sadly, the above has been my experience a few times now, and I won't be returning. There's plenty more other cafes and cake shops here, anyway.

Nice cakes for Christmas!

We ordered 50 small cakes for christmas (Petits fours) from 6 to 7 kinds. Fresh, sweet, smooth, tasty. It was amazingly good and appreciated by our family issued from Slovakia and France. Thanks to the team for so good cakes backed and prepared.
