We eat at Roxor few times a year and its always a pleasure. They moved from small place to a bigger dinning hall, which cost them the ultimate family looking vibe, but the waiters are still very kind - would be nice to hire more waiters to loose up the stress of employees, the restaurant is always full so they dont have so much time to chat and have fun with you. Waiting time to be seated (without reservation) can be 30min + another 30-40min for the food in peak hours. The burgers themselves are brilliant - juicy, full of flavours, fresh, craft beer served is awesome. best one was with "dula" sausage or "bryndza" cheese! french fries are good and we miss the paprika ones :( they used to be more thick and thus more juicy, but are ok now. the best dip is brasilian one <3 definitely best burger in town because the bun is fluffy, little roasted and jucy at the sime time. Perfect!

This place is not your average burger bar. It's located a little away from the main drag but it is so worth the effort of the short walk from the centre. It's an unpre-possessing venue but is seriously popular and rightly so. After a friendly welcome and a couple of craft beers, we ordered the Classic Burger and the El Gringo Burger with fries and the sauce of our choice. The burgers are cooked in batches to perfection and are gergeous. The double cooked fries are equally fantastic. The final bill with a tip and three beers came to €35 or around £32 which is just silly money! If you like burgers (and hate MacDonalds) then this is a must visit in Bratislava. I just wish I lived in Slovakia and could return.

Probably the best burger in town

A quite nice place with very kind waiters. One of the best burgers I've ever tasted, together with craft brewed beer and rosemary seasoned fries gave us an experience to remember. A drwback is tgat the place is quite famous and either you make a reservation two-three days in advance, or you have to wait an hour for a table. Advice: You won't probably be hungry for the next 24 hours, so don't be greedy if you go there in late evening :)

Decent burgers, forget the rest

Visited this very popular joint and I am rather let down from the experience. Yes, hamburgers are rather good but that's about it. The place is as warm as a hospital ER room and absolutely uninspiring. Service is incredibly slow, well past acceptable levels (more than 30 minutes for a burger, really?). Draft beer barely acceptable, you'd better go with the IPA. All burger are served with a side of NOTHING as you have to pay for chips, sauces and everything else that you'd consider standard: the lunch ended to be fairly expensive. There are better options for burgers in Bratislava, with the bonus of way more parking-friendly locations.

Decent burger but very overrated

The burgers unfortunately do not live up to the hype and expectations. First of all, this is a fast food posing as a restaurant (with restaurant prices) but the ambience is very lacking (what is the building? A former shop for consumer electronics?). The default for the meat in burger is "medium rare" (!) which is absolutely wrong - ground beef should be consumed only "well done". This is not a steak. The meat itself does not seem to be the centerpoint of the meal experience, it is rather all the unnecessary sauces and other toppings on the burger. Furthermore, the chimichurri sauce is a not a chimichurri sauce as it contains mayonnaise.

Hi Jakub, we are sorry we did not meet your expectations. We try not to look like fast food, we have table servis, make reservations, we use fresh ingredients, daily baked buns, daily ground meat, everyday made sauces and condiments. We take special care about our meat, so we really think, you can eat it just like a steak. We are not the only restaurant in the world(not even in Bratislava) that cook their burgers medium or even less, so we consider it as normal and harmless. By the way, our menu says the default doneness is medium, not "medium rare" as you wrote in your review. If you do not like medium cooked meat, you can always order well cooked burger :) The chimichurri sauce is the actual chimichurri sauce we make from scratch by ourselves mixed with mayonaisse. It is also written in our menu :) We are very sad, you did not like our concept. We wish you a nice day and maybe someday, see you again :)

Not cheap eat at all!

I don't get it why price rating is only one dollar sign. Maybe it was "cheap eat" at the beginning, but definitely not now. Almost 15€ for a burger with fries. I think it is pretty overpriced for a kind of fast food. Many other fine restaurants with classic cooked food of perfect quality are in that price range. I must admit, that quality is very good, but location and interior is average. And together with that price tag, I'm giving AVERAGE RATING.

Really good burgers

In my opinion, only burger in Bratislava that stands out as a really good burger. Most other popular burger places here have nice sauces and sometimes buns but lack in meat quality, however roxor has one of the best beef qualities I have ever found! Nice fries and sauces too. Beer is not bad either plus they have a big fridge for you to choose from a lot of (pricey) craft beer bottles. I would say it's a little bit expensive but overall I truly recommend it!

bad customer service

Unfortunately quite bad customer service. Nice food but they put priority always for new customer and do not care about payment. You call someone for 50 times but they always say “just a sec” and disappear 10 min, took 30 min just to pay after food, crazy loosing time. And they see that you re annoyed and they don’t care either. Not even a sorry. You may have a nice food but bad customer service, good bye. First and last time. Need to improve about customer service and being polite.

Great burgers !!

About 25 mins walk from Bratislava old town or a short inexpensive taxi ride. We went on a Saturday afternoon and there was a small queue when we arrived. But we were were seated quite quickly by the window. Staff were friendly and helpful and took our order in English with no issues. The Burgers were excellent only slight criticism is maybe too much sauce 😁 Side of rosemary fries were also very nice. Great selection of craft beer !! Will definitely visit again next time in Bratislava.. Highly recommended for burger fans. 🍔

Great burgers and fries washed down with the lemon flavoured beer. Friendly and efficient staff. Highly recommend. We arrived shortly after 12 on a Sunday lunchtime and the place was soon full. Always a positive sign

Top-class burgers and fries

Beautifully decorated burger shop with a small but fine menu. Lemonades are more like small cocktails that are SUPER tasty. The burgers are delicious and the fries are amazing. Highly recommended and would go back anytime.

Best in town, Best in country, best in a world? :) If you are looking for a burger, it's worth to check Roxor, they have few burgers but well prepared, all those combination makes sense and you will be delighted. Staff is friendly, beer, lemonades and side dishes are fine so whatever you are looking for, you will find here.

Very high expectations, but...🥲 We have been planning to visit this establishment for a very long time, as we considered it one of the best, if not the best, for preparing and serving burgers in Bratislava. The fries with sauces were excellent... the meat should have been medium-rare, but I thought it was more medium well... The bun was not bad, but we had much better ones... as the competition is very high... The overall taste of my choice El Gringo at 6/10 and the Birria Burger had an overall taste of very good 9/10, but I only tasted that one.

I think this is one of the best burgers I’ve ever tasted. The restaurant is fresh and a great atmosphere. Very busy, which is a positive. The staff were really friendly and they had a good selection of beers and cocktails. Highly recommend this place!
