Are here yesterday with a friend. Saw some good reviews about the restaurant so we decided to eat here. Unfortunately it took very long for the staff to bring our food and I guess we were not the only one at least waiting for half...an hour. The food was average and I didn’t felt really well after dinner. I don’t think I will recommend this restaurant..More

Simply put: when it comes to Asian food in Bratislava, currently Jasmin is the best restaurant in town. The restaurant is in the city centre, nested in the area of the city below the castle where the old Jewish getto was. Easily reachable by foot,...it gets really difficult to get there by car. The place: the restaurant is an institution in the city, being open since the ’90. It undertook a complete renovation several years ago together with the implementation of a new concept of Asian food (mostly Chinese cuisine). The renovation was a great success, mixing industrial interior design with clear elements recalling the Asian origins and theme of the place. The result is a cosy and warm place where the guests feel welcome and comfortable. The restaurant also have an outside space (quite a large terrace), that would be perfect if it wasn’t facing one of the main traffic artery of the city centre, making it not ideal. The service: the service is always nice and professional. Sometimes it can be a bit slow (when the place is packed), but the staff is smiling and great. The food: the restaurant offers a menu predominantly Chinese with some Vietnamese elements and more recently some Japanese dishes (among all a good sushi for the standards of the city). The Chinese food is overall fantastic. It’s good, but also quite authentic. Portions are always more than fair. A special mention goes to the Dim Sum that is really good. The only downside is that sometimes the food lacks consistency. Not in terms of quality, but simply in terms of taste, like if they were following different receipes depending on the day. Sushi is good but not superlative (still have to find a superlative one in Bratislava). Prices went up after the Covid shut down, noticeably (in the order of 20% I would say), but is still in an acceptable range of price considering quality and quantity of the dishes. Conclusions: I have been to the restaurant many times and tried half the menu. Dim Sum is really good. Hot plate dishes are great. Sushi is good. I’m waiting for a cold winter night to try the hot pot. Jasmin is a restaurant where I go regularly and always with great pleasure.More

The red chill oil food with chicken/beef is always good, others are just soso. The quality of the food varies in different days.

This place always offers the same quality and taste. We keep coming here and will do so for times to come. Staff is quick and organised, decor is really cool, drink and food offerings are plentyful and good. Overall i recommend this place if you...like chinese food. My favourite dishes are gong bao chicken and the hot and sour soup.More

Restaurant is ideal for tourists visiting castle hill. However, tourists may prefer other than Chinese cuisine while in Slovakia. But anyway, they offer good Chinese cuisine of Sichuan style. Pros: - genuine Chinese foods without any compromises - focus on details in service - very...experienced staff Cons: - difficult parkingMore

We left the place after 20 minutes, leaving all the food unfinished, I do not remember last time I had such terrible food. -our soup was cold and too watery -beef in salad tasted like chewing gum -chicken skewers were obviously prepared in advance and...heated up, tasted awfully and chewy -propably the most disgusting peanut sauce I ate in my life -our table was dirty and menu cards as well If you are looking for proper Asian food in Bratislava go Sushi bar Tokyo, Geisha, or Edokin and avoid this place.More

We go here almost every month. The food is delicious, the staff is lovely. The whole experience is amazing. I was NOT Once disappointed in anything that they brought on the table. Even their interior is beautiful, and oh my gosh did I tell you...about the food? Even when I'm writing this review I feel hungry and I want to order something from this restaurant. That's how much I love it. The only con that I've noticed, is that they don't have much kid-friendly food options. I've noticed this because one of my younger family members is very picky about their food and I understand that this is a Chinese restaurant but I still think it should have more basic foods, or at least something specifically for kids.More
