Actually we never visit Asian restaurants beside sushi. We made exception after years with this one. Restaurant was fully booked during Saturday lunch time and we had to wait 30 minutes, so we walked around. Finally food was very nice and tasty. Staff was kind and fast and interior modern. So this is one asian restaurant which i can recommend in Bratislava.

Stopped for lunch on our way back into the old town from Bratislava castle. The exterior is a bit tired and uninspiring but inside it is very chic and smart. We had the lunch special for €9.90, Kung Bao chicken for me, beef with chilli and green beans for my other half. Lunch included a generous bowl of soup, hot and sour for me, chicken for hubby, both fresh and delicious. Main dishes were served with rice and a refreshing salad of kimchi and radish.
Portions were very generous and delicious. Service was friendly and attentive. A brilliant deal and a nice change from the heartier Slovak cuisine which we predominantly ate during our Bratislava break.

Simply put: when it comes to Asian food in Bratislava, currently Jasmin is the best restaurant in town.
The restaurant is in the city centre, nested in the area of the city below the castle where the old Jewish getto was. Easily reachable by foot, it gets really difficult to get there by car.
The place: the restaurant is an institution in the city, being open since the ’90. It undertook a complete renovation several years ago together with the implementation of a new concept of Asian food (mostly Chinese cuisine). The renovation was a great success, mixing industrial interior design with clear elements recalling the Asian origins and theme of the place. The result is a cosy and warm place where the guests feel welcome and comfortable. The restaurant also have an outside space (quite a large terrace), that would be perfect if it wasn’t facing one of the main traffic artery of the city centre, making it not ideal.
The service: the service is always nice and professional. Sometimes it can be a bit slow (when the place is packed), but the staff is smiling and great.
The food: the restaurant offers a menu predominantly Chinese with some Vietnamese elements and more recently some Japanese dishes (among all a good sushi for the standards of the city). The Chinese food is overall fantastic. It’s good, but also quite authentic. Portions are always more than fair. A special mention goes to the Dim Sum that is really good. The only downside is that sometimes the food lacks consistency. Not in terms of quality, but simply in terms of taste, like if they were following different receipes depending on the day.
Sushi is good but not superlative (still have to find a superlative one in Bratislava).
Prices went up after the Covid shut down, noticeably (in the order of 20% I would say), but is still in an acceptable range of price considering quality and quantity of the dishes.
Conclusions: I have been to the restaurant many times and tried half the menu. Dim Sum is really good. Hot plate dishes are great. Sushi is good. I’m waiting for a cold winter night to try the hot pot. Jasmin is a restaurant where I go regularly and always with great pleasure.

Came in for lunch and they had a special lunch menu with several dishes between €8 and €14 (soup included). I chose the hot and sour soup and the noodles with chicken and this was a good choice.. Good service with English speaking waiter. So, A good Asian style lunch.

Lovely atmosphere. Wine options good for a Chinese restaurant-we shared a bottle f the Dunaj which at 23 euro a bottle was resonable, for a Christmas treat. We had the satay chicken and tempura prawns to start. The tempura was fantastic, crispy and perfectly coked. The satay was a disappointment-not a peanut in sight. The sauce, served cold on the side, was more of a weird mustard concoction. But edible.
For main we had the peking duck. It was perfect, plenty of hoisin sauce and hte pancakes were soft and delicious. Would have liked a bit more cucumber and spring onion but overall it was fantastic. Probably the best duck I have ever had.
Service was quiet and non-invasive. It got pretty full quickly and the staff managed well. Could have checked that the mea was OK for us but given the amount of staff to customers, it was no big deal that they didn't. Besides, it was great. Will definitely visit again!

We go here almost every month. The food is delicious, the staff is lovely. The whole experience is amazing. I was NOT Once disappointed in anything that they brought on the table. Even their interior is beautiful, and oh my gosh did I tell you about the food? Even when I'm writing this review I feel hungry and I want to order something from this restaurant. That's how much I love it.
The only con that I've noticed, is that they don't have much kid-friendly food options. I've noticed this because one of my younger family members is very picky about their food and I understand that this is a Chinese restaurant but I still think it should have more basic foods, or at least something specifically for kids.

Fresh ingredients, good variety and efficient service (we had to wait a little because it was so busy). We tried various dim sum to start and then shared a few dishes, no one to give any negative comment on: the kung pao chicken was spiced just well, the peking duck was how it should be and the beef in oyster sauce on green vegetables very juicy. Every fried rice was freshly made. Wonderful!

This place always offers the same quality and taste. We keep coming here and will do so for times to come. Staff is quick and organised, decor is really cool, drink and food offerings are plentyful and good. Overall i recommend this place if you like chinese food. My favourite dishes are gong bao chicken and the hot and sour soup.

Delicious dinner, hospitable and kind staff. I ordered takeaway and the food was great. I was surprised to see a "packing" charge on my receipt, 45 cents for each item - in any event, the food was a good value and we enjoyed it!

Superb food and service.
We booked online (had to do it in Slovakian - guess work involved, as the site wouldn’t switch to English for reservations on my iphone or iPad - was still straightforward). We choose this restaurant based on online reviews.
We were seated immediately. Ordered a lovely Slovakian Sauv blanc whilst we choose our food.
We were really hungry and couldn’t settle on 2 starters so went for 3 - the crispiest tempura prawns I’ve ever tasted, the pork spring rolls and the chicken satay. Delicious.
We followed with the Kung Pao chicken and the crispy beef, with fried rice and noodle sides.
A lovely meal in a lovely restaurant. Great service. 10/10.

Here's a polished version:
While the service exhibited moments of being slightly pushy and impatient, with waitstaff frequently checking in on our orders, the food itself was undeniably well-prepared. The sushi and dumplings were particularly standout, delivering on taste and quality. Despite feeling a bit rushed, the overall dining experience was enjoyable, thanks to the flavorful offerings.

Couldn't fault this restaurant in any way. My wife had a chicken curry and fried rice. I had sweet and sour chicken with fried rice . Portions were large and filling and reasonably priced , especially for being near the city centre. Would definitely recommend this place.

We used to go regularly to this, one if not the first real chinese restaurant in the city. With time they changed in every aspect: you would not feel the traditional chinese ambiance with aquariums and fish around, your food would be plated in italian style restaurant dishes, your food woud be pan Asian not chinese any more. I would not call it chinese anymore whats more the quality and origin of chicken or beef meet would be questionable. They really tried with presentation but this is european rather than chinese. There are better pan Asian places in the city as this one It is a pitty they do not trust to its original concept. Dissappointed.

It is a surprising real chinese restaurant that we found in Bratislava.
Not the usual “same taste” that you can refere when thinking to those type of restaurants but a tasteful real experience.
The crispy duck is excellent as all other dishes. Even if not chinese tempura was one e best I tried.
I did not fall in love for teryachi chicken (too much sauceed) but overall still excellent
Many chines people eating there, a good sign
