HI,
1. This is not a restaurant, but a wine bar. Food is very limited to snacks, MAYBE cheese and finger-food if any. Sometimes they're completely out of any food.
2, No need to book a table. They rarely have private parties or tastings, it's private space then. Otherwise you can always find some free table.
3, Kids aren't the best idea. This is a rather upscale wine bar. Guests here tend to get a bit noisy and expressive in their discussion and use words kids shouldn't hear.
My advice - if you want to enjoy a glass of wine after your lunch, it's fine with kids. If you want to spend there an evening, definitely leave kids at the hotel.
