I visited the wine bar for the first time a long time ago. very pleasant atmosphere, large selection of wines, friendly staff and great tapas. reasonably priced considering the location of the place- city center. I always like to come back.

I visited The Taste restaurant several times and I always left satisfied. The services and quality they provide are priced very affordable

What an unbelievable cuisine found in central europe! Loved every plate of it! Subtile mix of flavors and textures, great for connaisseurs of fine cuisine.

We went here for lunch, and for tasting some local wines. We were met by a man asking us if we wanted just drinks or food. We asked for lunch, sat down and got a glass of wine. We were a bit surprised when we...got food on the table. After a while we understood that the place has a lunchmenu, called businesslunch, but that was after checking facebook and tripadvisor. I guess the waiter is used to have costumers that know all these things (or dont speak english well enough to explain it well). Anyway, the food was very good!!! We can really recommend the place for some food. We were a bit afraid of the price because of the good food. But this lunch €9,90. Its very good value for money. Also you can taste different types of wine on glass here.If you go to Bratislava as a tourist, and like wine and good food- Go here!More

The Taste used to be an upmarket wine bar, but expanded and upgraded to a restaurant a year ago. We visited a couple of times recently and overall we were quite impressed. The kitchen aims pretty high and mostly gets there. While you won’t eat...anything massively innovative, dishes are well executed, nicely presented and taste great. Fish dishes were excellent, with grilled octopus with lentils and poached cod the highlights. Service staff seem to be selected for how they look rather then their experience or service mentality, so expect the usual Bratislava mixture of ineptitude and apathy. As you’d expect, the wine selection is enormous, with many good Slovak / regional options at reasonable prices. The Taste is currently one of the better dining options in Bratislava, suiting both date nights or larger groups. We would definitely return.More

Great wine menu, and some interesting plates. Service was prompt and friendly, and everything clean and new. They did not have an english menu, but servers translated everything and took great care of us!
