There are 90 different teas to choose from they are all thermometer tested to get the right temperature for each tea I have to say I absolutely loved it it's nice to get a tea That's made professionally to the right temperature it really bought out all the flavour of the tea. The bunker was lovely it had a lovely ambience the lady making our tea was nice and helpful. Be aware my elderflower tea came in a bucket size mug I couldn't finish it even though it was really good.

We went there around 11 am, right after opening. We were the first customers of the day and the owner took her time to explain the preparation of the teas.
The shelter is divided in several rooms with each a theme (Africa, India…). Very nice! It also allows you to enjoy your tea in peace.

We had the most amazing time here it was super cosy and Richard, was especially amazing explaining all the teas. he was super sweet and so knowledgeable about the teas.
Even non-tea lovers really enjoyed the experience. The setting is really unique and you can spend lots of time there playing games and just hanging out. The themed rooms are really interesting. They have nondairy milk but only Sawyer. They have a good variety of snacks and the pita Damascus is really sweet and tasty.

Came across this by accident, being British the opportunity to have a cuppa could not be passed by.
It's fascinating to see what a cold war bomb shelter is like, to think that forty five people could be made safe in this structure for seventy five hours.
The young lady hostess made us very welcome and produced us two types of tea out of a possible 90, my wife had elderflower and I had a good dark Indian the, typical British tea, served with milk as it should.
I asked her if she knew why tea was such an important part of the British way of life, she didn't realize how important it is to us. I educated her on the industrial revolution, and how the tea break is actually in our employment law.
It's certainly a very pleasant experience, especially if you want to chill out after Christmas shopping.
Be warned the stairs down are steep but have a good handrail.

We discovered that place by pure luck and we stayed for more than 3 hours! It was tastefully decorated, each seating area had a different atmosphere and culture it was associated with, the teas were wonderful and Alex was very knowledgeable of everything: she let us brew our own teas and her recommendations were perfect for both of us. I just regret leaving and not having the time to come back. That would be for next time! Highly recommend if you want to have a break and enjoy warm or ice tea in a relaxing atmosphere that'll transport you around the world. A must!

Can you imagine that you are in the old town of Bratislava and you want to rest for a couple of hours? You can visit this cozy tearoom in the old civic bunker and have some marvellous teas from all around the world. Yes, you heard it right! An old civic bunker. Huh! :D You have to go 15 meters down the stairs and there it is - a nice temperature during hot summer season and warm during winter with a hot cuppa. People here specialize in high quality teas, so even if you are a tea challenger, you won’t leave unhappy. And they have perfect hummus and baba ganoush for a snack. So dont hesitate. Go there!

Underground Tea Room is literally like a cool breeze in the summer heat. A magical little oasis where you can hide from the dazzling sunlight. The service was irreproachable and everything we tasted was more delicious than we expected. I ordered lavender tea with honey and some waffles with caramel and I would recommend this combination wholeheartedly to everyone. 💝
Important note: When we were here we could only pay in cash.

Great atmosphere, different cozy rooms, we sat at the Africa section. Large selection of teas at very good prices (€5), I tried the Lapacho and find it very much to my liking. Polite and friendly English-speaking service. Highly recommended!

Absolutely lovely place. The worker and the ambiance were really sweet. On a hot day, it's the perfect temperature (since it's a former bunker) and all their teas can be made cold/iced, which was perfect on a hot day.

If you are in hurry, don't go there. But if you wanna come down, You want to have a great cup of tea, You want to chill, it's a great place for it. I love black tea, my wife only drink fruit tea, and both were great. If you are tea lover, we really recommend this place. We think, we found a new fix point for our Bratislava trips

Super quirky tea room down in a bomb shelter which an unbelievable selection of teas (a book in itself!). My daughter had a green tea which she said was excellent. I genuinely do not like tea but had a very good coffee. The middle
Eastern / Indian theme made this very atmospheric. A must do for tea lovers!

Quite a unique experience. We were a group of five and loved the overall vibe. It's an interesting idea to use a bomb shelter as a tea room. Service was great, the tea was unusual and very original & still great

This place feels like home. I came here from vienna with a friend and we're definitely coming back.
The decoration is super lovely and every table has a comfortable little space of it's own. They have games such as chess which you can play and an amazing variety of different teas, if you can't decide on what to order you can let them suprise you (and you won't regret!!!)
The staff was also super friend and we had a great time there, totally recommend!!

Absolutely a ‘speakeasy’ tea room and I loved it. Ambiance is absolutely beautiful and relaxing and I wish there were more of these hidden gems. Friendly staff as well with an awesome selection of teas and snacks.
