Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very nice wine bar with local wines. The waitress was very service minded. We would gladly come back and have another glas of riesling.

We visited this wine bar during a City tour for tasting. We would definitely come back by ourselves if we would have time. Nice atmosphere, the sommelier is very nice and has a story to tell about each wine. Ham & cheese to taste the...wine were also top quality. We bought two bottles for the occasion which are not so expensive (23€ for two bottles). Wine amateurs, do not forget to visit this place!More

The wine place is nice located very close to the blue church in Bratislava. They have an excellent choice of good wines and the staff are very friendly and know their wines. A must if you like wine!

I never eat or drink directly at this place, but I bought quality wines for party or as gifts in this place. I followed the recommendations of the staff and that was always excellent choice. The choice for take-away wines is huge, inclusive Slovak wines...as well as imported (last time I bought a tasty Spanish red).More

Vinoteka pri Modrom kostoliku is definitely a must-to-visit for everyone who enjoys a glass/bottle of a good wine. A huge selection of quality Slovak wines either for take-away (discount 20%!) or to enjoy right at the place is the main, but not the only positive...of this place. You can also choose from sandwiches or cheese/ham plates. Very cozy, ambient atmosphere, knowledgable and attentive staff and good location are just a few things why I'm a regular customer here. If you ever spend a couple of days in Bratislava and want a good, calm place to enjoy a glass of wine, come here. You won' regret it.More

Lovely wine bar opposite the Blue Church, great selection of very reasonably priced Slovak wines, (and other world wines if one desires) choice of cheese, meats and pates excellent, had we not been tired would have stayed all evening. Very friendly service, would recommend for...wine-lovers, and those who fancy an evening just outside of the old town.More

Awesome place to meet friends and chat. I have never seen such a wide range of slovak wines as in this place. We appreciated as well a professional advice of house sommelier who recommended even some spanish, american and australia´s wines. Often we do a...weekly wine-tasting about which we receive an email notifications. A small snack is always offered when you get hungry after a "challenging" evening. ...can´t wait to meet againMore
