Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This caffe is in the former pharmacy and I think it doesn't fit in this space. Somehow I still have in my mind that, I should order aspirin. The service is not very professional.

Stopped in for a quick coffee. Also ordered a slice of rhubarb pie. Both were great. Server was nice. I felt like this was definitely a local hangout. The only reason I'm giving this place a 4 out of a 5 is because all I...had was a 50euro bill and they couldn't cash it. I then asked to use my credit or debit card and they didn't have machines. The girl reluctantly ended up taking my 50. So be warned to have small bills on you when entering!More

We stumbled across this place at the corner of the street as we were looking for the Blue Church across the street. The cakes we chose were very nice and together with a couple of coffees and a bottle of coke and it came to...around €10 very reasonable and a nice place to rest your legsMore

A great place for some tasty break! Pop in for a warm cup of good coffee, have their amazing home-made cakes or something from their healthy menu. Their carrot cake is a must-try! Stopping at this small cozy coffee house near the Blue Church will...make your day nicer. For more info and pictures visit www.welcometobratislava.euMore

Bratislava is full of cafes and I've been to most of them. Corny Cafe is one of the best - most delicious cakes in the city, good quality coffee (though the choice is limited) and hot chocolate, staff is always friendly, and there's a nice...atmosphere. A fine place to spend an hour or two.More

The place doesn't look good, and in weekends the menu is poor. I wouldn't come back. Although Staff is really nice and friendly.

Very good service, nice and friendly staff, delicious cakes. They let us stay after hours. We had small party in the separate room, everything went well.

Cafe Corny was a short walk from the Airbnb we had been staying in. Once we had breakfast there, it was our "go to" place in our neighborhood. They offered eggs (we had scrambled with ham and cheese - delicious) it was served with toast,...tomato, and lettuce. Great WIFI - tasty food. They offer outdoor seating in season.More

It is a surprising location, hidden from the usual routes, but close to very nice blue church and yellow school - you will like the coziness factor for sure. Second is the food, both in general and dessert especially. It is done with care and...thought, tasteful and healthy. People working there and overall atmosphere is enhancing the feeling you will like to repeat next lazy weekend with an interesting book perhaps or a special person. Last but not least is the coffee and drinks which are also very nice, but that depends on what you like. Definite quality though.More

Cafe Corny has been around for several years and it keeps its quality. It offers a very pleasant and low key atmosphere to the locals as well as tourist that may stumble upon it when visiting the emblematic Art Nuveau Blue Church. Apart from a...free wi-fi (a standrad these days in most restaurants and cafes in Bratislava), Cafe Corny offers great selection of smoothies and milk shakes, fresh mint and and ginger teas, very respectable coffee and wine by the glass and true home made strudles to die for! They also whip their own cream, and do not use the spray substitute. For lunch, they have daily selections of light and healthy lunches (still not a standard in most restaurants and cafes in Bratislava), including quiches, salads and soups. The place is run by young and friendly staff who look like they are enjoying their work. In the summer, there is also outside seating. When I visit Bratislava, I stay on a parallel street and visit Corny regularly. I hope they will stay in business for ever!More

I was walking with a friend in Bratislava center and was looking for a place to have a snack. What a good idea I had to stop at Corny Cafe ! Much more than a snack, we had both a wonderful quiche, which was so...delicious that we continued with a sweet apple pie, and a fresh mint tea. Staff was really nice, and we could feel the atmosphere of local life. It was little cold so we were inside, but the terrasse must be a delicious place in summer. Don't miss the place ! J.C.More
