Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Cosy and relaxing interior. Very good selection of Slovakian wines - the white Palava (Chardonnay) is really elegant! The beef burger and the Cesar wrap are incredible! The deserts are amazing too! Great service. Overall the experience is an indulgence!

Nice setting that mimics the interior of a Paris bistro. Food choice is quite limited but ok. The IPA beer on draft was not really an IPA, but acceptable.

We went here with some friends, when we sat down the first thing that they said was "oh these meals do not really sound like it's enough for us to have dinner". But, I can tell you that all portions were enough for all of...us, the food also came really quick and they had a lot of great wines from eastern Europe on the menu. We also ordered some Slovakian liquors and very tasty deserts. Long story short, in Bratislava we struggled to find decent restaurants who did have place and time for is, but this bistro was very welcoming and very positively perceived by all of us!More

It's become my favourite in the quiet place, yet in the centre of the city. Excellent food and local Slovak beer Erb, very nice staff and great atmosphere. I can recommend the visit.

Wow! Service on a Sunday night just shocking! We arrived for a day’s trip to Bratislava. We absolutely loved the city, went to a few restaurants and cafes and experience was really good so far, but not until we came to this place. We came...here at 18:20 to eat and drink... no menus were given, we had to fish a menu in English ourselves. The waitress looked that she didn’t want to be here aka do her job... anyways, we’ve waited for 30 mins to order our food and drinks... with waitresses milling around but not acknowledging us... there was a table next to us with people waiting equally as long. I understand the place was busy, but not full... clearly they do not want tourists’ custom. Such a shame, as the place looks cosy and has a nice vibe.More

After the shoddy service this restaurant inspired me to write my first tripadvisor review. With an hour and 40 minutes spare to grab some food before our bus left Bratislava we decided to come to this establishment due to the location and reviews on Tripadvisor....That was a mistake. We had to search for our own menus then waited an eternity to get served which meant we could only order drinks (which again took a lifetime to arrive). The staff didn’t look like they wanted to be there. Maybe the foods nice here if you have all day to wait.More

The atmosphere is great, like a bistro in Paris, but you definitely feel the Slovak touch (like great local wine!). The kitchen offers so many different options so you can never be disappointed. High quality food and a great value for money. Plus, the waitress...was very helpful and friendly since we don't speak Slovak, which is not to be taken for granted in the city. That's the best food experience we had in Bratislava.More

We had a lovely dinner here, wine was local and reasonably priced and came with complimentary olives and bread. Food was traditional Slovak and just what we wanted as it was our first night in Bratislava. The waitress was very friendly and her English was...amazing. Lovely atmosphere would eat here again.More

A nice place to have a gathering of friends. The ambience was relaxing with a mix of small and long tables and sofa chairs We had a houmus to share and were pleasantly surprised by the variety in crudites. We had creme brulee and it...was delicious. It could get very crowded and noisy on a Friday and weekend but when we were there it was a Tuesday and around 7 pm with many empty tables.More
