We made a reservation on a Saturday for dinner and the restaurant was very spacious and pleasant looking. I decided to try an Asian dish of laksa which I am very familiar with, and was terribly disappointed with the presentation and taste of the curry. The appearance when it was presented was indeed dreadful. Just had it because I did not want to waste the food. Our friends had steak with vegetables which was fine,a bowl of udon noodles with meat and veggie and lastly a gluten free rice noodles veggie dish which was actually a stir fry Pad Thai.
I did voiced my opinion about my meal to the server and this was conveyed to the chef. However he did not even come over to hear what I had to say about this particular dish. If you cannot be accurate in the taste and presentation of laksa, then it should be omitted from the menu.

Cozy Coza is a newly opened restaurant that tries to mix local traditional food and Asian flavours.
The place: the restaurant, freshly renovated on the ashes of an old and established traditional Slovak place, is a new concept developed by the same owner attempting to present a fusion/mix of Asian food and local taste.
The restaurant has been renovated with an attention to interior design that brings a partially successful result.
Overall the place is cosy and warm, with brilliant elements and a nice lightning. More attention should be given to the lights of the first entrance room, too bright and cold. A pity because the rest of the place is nice, mixing a new style with elements recalling the previous establishment (smart). Far from being full (it only opened a couple of weeks ago), even with a few customers, the place was showing potential in conveying a sense of warm and pleasant feeling, making you believe that you can spend a nice evening with friends.
The service: the service was a bit chaotic with only one waiter serving the entire restaurant. But everything was done with a smile so I’m sure it will improve along time.
The food: the restaurant offers predominantly Asian flavours but mixed with local cuisine and ingredients. We got Laksa soup with corn fed chicken that was really good. Red curry Thai Udon with chicken that was missing a kick to be noticeable. In addition the presentation was a bit messy and not that appealing. A grilled Norwegian Salmon Tatiki that was really good but suffered of the same plating issues. The only negative note was the dessert. The coconut creme brûlée was good in terms of taste (a bit too sweet), but the dish was a failure in terms of consistency and texture. It was completely liquid at the bottom and falling apart.
Conclusions: the restaurant has obvious potential. The location is nice, cosy, warm and with a bit of attention could be really nice. The chef obviously knows what he is doing (note: the chef came out to exchange a few words with the customers, a gesture that was highly appreciated), but needs to put more attention on presentation and develop along time a stronger character to the menu. It’s a restaurant to try and to keep an eye on waiting for it to be great (fingers crossed).

This restaurant canceled our online order without telling us, because they were supposedly out of an item (duck salad, though weirdly they had other duck dishes) that was available to order on their online menu. I reordered onsite and had to wait 30 minutes. They even auto-charged a healthy tip after that.
Then they messed up the dessert (ice cream) which also was available on their online ordering — said it was available only in the summer. They replaced it with something random, without telling us or making it clear. Why didn’t he say this originally when I reordered the same thing but without the duck salad they were out of? Getting a refund for the dessert was like pulling teeth.
The steak was ok but tough. Risotto was bitter—we couldn’t eat it after one bite. Worst restaurant of our month long tour of Europe.
Manager on duty said "it wasn’t his fault" that I was having so many problems, but it really was and could've been avoided with simple, clear communication (except for the risotto problem). No effort made to compensate us for our troubles; again, they even auto-charged us a fat tip!

If you want to dwell into the fusion of Asia - you are mostly welcome to this indeed very cosy place. The place is not very far from touristic places, but it is very welcoming, friendly and happy place to eat. Meal is more than perfect, it is heavenly! We were lucky to be served by the chef himself - and even in a very hurry, he was very kind to propose to us his best creations. All the best in your business!

We came here to celebrate my boyfriend's 30th Birthday. We were recommended this place and the special menu for 2 people. Because of the preparation, the special menu needs to be booked at least one day in advance, so I made my booking 3 days ahead to ensure the special day and our celebration goes smoothly. I spoke to the owner who ensured me of the booking, which was also confirmed in writing. However, when we got to the restaurant no one was aware of our reservation. Obviously, this lack of communication from management can happen, however, what was unacceptable was the way we were treated by the waiter. He was not apologetic at all, instead he was laughing to my face saying it was me who made the mistake. The only person with professional customer service was the chef, who was actually the only reason why we decided to give the place a chance and ordered what he recommended to us. Looking at the bill of 53€ without any discount I asked for compensation and I have been told that “it is too late, because the bill is already printed”. Never in my life I was treated in this way. I paid and their chef, trying to save the situation, came out of the kitchen and as a compensation offered us free dessert. When we said no, he offered us 20% discount for their upcoming event. At this moment I started to laugh, it was really ridiculous.
Even Though the food is nice, unfortunately, the whole experience, especially the poor customer service from the waiting staff, makes the place not worth your visit and I definitely do not recommend it to anyone.

When you step into the restaurant you become speachless. Whole place looks fabolous and the working staff is really there for every single guest.
Eventhough the menu is not in English, the waitress is very kind and explains the dishes on the menu in English.
The food, drink and vibe with funky music is amazing.
It is a must try place in Bratislava! :)

After booking (within the indicated hours), we find the place almost closing, dark and the kitchen closed. The waitress didn't count on us at all. And also the kitchen was even closed. After looking for options on the gluten-free menu they ended up referring us to other restaurants. Having the letter with bad allergens and very negative experience.

Terrible customer servis...bad organization on "oyster night event". No presentation. We ordered 2 lobster but recieved 0. When we ask why the waittress told us is not her mistake someone made mistake in kitchen and there where just 6 lobsters for the night and 2 of them are missing. There was no apology no compensation for us. This was our first and last visit of this restaurat. Shame for that amateur place.

My first time here. Loved it! Great food and ambience. I had the 3 course duck special, with duck liver starter in palstschinka. And the delicious dessert was with cashews and cinnamon. Good Wines too, Slovak and Austrian. Great jazz playing. Highly recommend.

An outstanding restaurant. Excellent food, service and decor. So much better than the touristy places in old town. The steak tartare, Thai salad, creme brulee, steak we're all fabulous.
Excellent gluten free options.
Don't miss this restaurant!

We went to CozyCoza for family birthday dinner. The menu isn't super huge, but there's option for everybody and for every taste and style preference. It's a magical fusion of different cuisines resulting in fabulous dishes. They have vegan options for main courses and desserts as well. The atmosphere is lovely, restaurant is super cozy, seating with big fluffy pillows and soft, warm blankets. It's great for families as there is a play space for little children. We enjoyed it very much.
