I believe they claim to be the biggest restaurant in Bratislava (if not the whole Europe) and they are not kidding… The place is huge. They have seating outside and multiple rooms inside, including a huge hall with tables. The service was excellent. Alenka was...very attentive and professional. She got our food out quickly and she was very knowledgeable about the menu to make good suggestions. We ordered a ton of food, since we wanted to taste a bit of as many traditional Slovakian food as possible, and our bill was 67 euro. For drinks we had house red and local beer; everything delicious. We tried sheep cheese gnocchi, sheep cheese pierogi, garlic soup in a bread bowl, duck thigh with cabbage and potato pancakes, sirloin in cream sauce with a slice of a dumpling and strawberry potato dumplings for dessert. Everything was fresh and tasted very good. Overall, a nice, hearty meal.More

This place was recommended to us by locals but not being local ourselves, the food and service did not meet our expectations. We had booked in advance but they had no record of this when we arrived. We got seated ok and ordered food and...drinks. Service was so prompt that we didn’t have to wait long until our drinks arrived, swiftly followed by the starters and minutes later the main courses appeared!! Not quite what you want eh. As for the food, the garlic soup in a bread bowl was lovely but the potato dumplings with sheep’s cheese and bacon was quite bland and could have been hotter. We were expecting so much more on our last night in town but that was not to be. We will not be returning.More

This place is killer. Bang for your buck and wonderful Slovakian food. Fool with this place if you are in Bratislava. You will not regret it.

Amazing food, super tasty, full of flavour. We had garlic soup, fried cheese and homemade sausage. And homemade potato crisps as well as strudel for a desert. All was fantastic, great service as well. We did not wait long for food at all, but it...was 6 / 6,30pm - so maybe not the most busy time of the day. Nevertheless the restaurant was full. I attach photo of the crisps (unfortunately we ate the other food before I took pics 😄)More

The restaurant is inside an old building. When we walked in nobody serve us. The goulash is fine. Cabbage soup is very sour. The environment is bad, it is dark and no fresh air. We were forced to pay service fee.

My boyfriend and I ate lunch here one day while in Bratislava. To be honest, when we walked in, we were skeptical because the restaurant was not very busy and it looked kind of touristy. After checking the reviews again, we decided to give it...a try and we were not disappointed. We started with an order of garlic soup in a bread bowl and then for our main meal I had the potato dumplings with meat and cabbage and my boyfriend had a sausage and fries. We both thought our meals were really good. I also had a nice cold beer which was great.More

Nice to try local food. The food was good, the location special. A former theatre. Staff uninterested and rude, toilets disgusting.

Sister to Slovak Pub which we had already been to, so visiting here was a no brainer. Service was super quick even though the place was extremely busy and the place specialises in local dishes. Portions were big and all in our party of 5...remarked on how delicious their food tasted. There was a lady walking round with shots and they have a small gift shop selling pub branded merchandise. This place is huge, a converted cinema/theatre and we were informed that it was one of, if not the biggest restaurant in Europe.More

Very large restaurant in Bratislava. Serves mostly traditional Slovakian food, of great quality. I recommend the garlic soup (served in a bowl of homemade bread).

Flag ship is a good slovak restaurant in Bratislava. You can eat good typical slovak food and drink good beer outdoor in the city center, but I think that they should clean the tables and the chairs better. Same situation in other restaurants in Bratislava....I come from Italy...More

What a terrific meal! The cabbage soup, we all agreed, was the best we had ever enjoyed. And it was a comfortable informal atmosphere that was a lot of fun. It’s kind of at the edge of Old Town, and worth the walk.

They don't take any bookings on line between about 7 and 9. We popped in however, and they did kindly reserve us a table to come back to later that evening, so it's worth a try.
