A local friend recommended this restaurant and we thought to try it. It was amazing!!!! Best portion to price ratio in ages! Food well cooked, plenty of choices for all tastes. The space is remarkable and the staff very friendly.
Super beautiful restaurant that was a theatre before. They brew their own beer downstairs. They offer traditional Slovak food at good prices. Portions are OK and food is tasty. Waitress spoke little English and was difficult to communicate.
Went there on the recommendation of a YouTube influencer who had said their dish with Slovakian delights was a must try. Restaurant was full, but dish left my wife and I underwhelmed. How much can you do with potato and cabbage of course. Waiters nice...but not too fast. Price is decent for what you get. Soups were very good.More
The restaurant was recommended by a local tour guide and it was a good tip. There are many tables outside, in the shadows of trees. It is located right outside the Old Town.
The food and drinks selection is very good, including some traditional Slovakian...dishes. The service was OK as well as the prices.More
We went as a couple after reading about the beer hall. The food was pretty good, the beer selections were great and service was pretty quick. The venue itself is quite cool, and I can imagine a great atmosphere if it were full.
We was there late in the evening, so they soon close but we get some to eat. It was good, but the service was short notiz and laconic, which made an uncomfortable impression. The beer, which i would have was empty and he mean only...that two other are availabile.More
I found it a very touristy place and a bit pricey. This is my first impression.
Also staff is not friendly at all. At least I communicated 3 staff but none of them was nice.
It is interesting to visit the old and historical building, though....Entrance area is decorated very nicely. Entire space is very interesting, which makes you remind you that it used to be theather.
As I wasn't hungry very much, I ordered cabbage soup but it is very disappointing. Portion is small and very salty. Ihad had another cabbage soup near Devin Castle, which was far better and bigger.
No reson to visit there again for me even if atmosphere is good. More
