Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Went for cocktails with my sibling here for sunset - lovely tasting drinks but quite expensive considering there is a very big ice cube in each cocktail. Waiter gave us information about the drinks which was nice. Lovely views of castle and UFO tower too.

Don’t be fooled by the non descript entrance. The restaurant has the best views of Bratislava- looking out into the Castle/ St Martin’s/ the Old Town. It was unusually warm for April so sat outside as the sun went down - fairytale views! And the...service is impeccable. Staff who really know their menu & care about it - they really were superb. And the food has the same attention to detail: beautifully sourced ingredients : seasonal & local . It was my birthday - so well worth the spend - although compared to most European cities this was NOT expensive at all . Well worth a visit. Book ahead - and consider eating at 5pm to get a terrace table .More

We went to the sky bar in the evening for drinks, seeing the whole area lit up was great to see, A lovely cocktail menu. A little expensive compared to other places. But it’s well worth it

The place is beautiful and the views outstanding. To my taste, there are too many tables together but I understand they have to take advantage the space as much as posible. The food was correct and very tasty although the portions are too minimalist. I...know this type of cuisine but I think the portions are too small for the prices of the dishes. I was disappointed with the service. The waitress spoke to us very los and took too much time explaining the dishes. She seemed very proud of them but she treated us like we never been in an exclusive restaurant. Too much detail and too much confident talking to us. She had a very Im unfortunate comment once we were chatting to her. She said a comment referring to a weak dish saying that is for gays. So, then I had to answered that I was gay, so that dish should be up to my taste. I don’t think she meant it but I didn’t like the association she made of something weak for gays. Not good!More

I always loved going to the Sky Bar. Loved the creative cocktails and the good food. But it seems they changed owners. The cocktails changed to normal ones, still tasting good but nothing special. And the menu changed to be more Slovak, less range of...choices, more expensive. We looked forward to the food so in the end, for the first time in my life, we left before ordering, after taking a look at the menu, even though we had a reservation :(More

We booked really short time before we arrived. The waitress was amazing, she told us the story behind the drinks and they were really tasty and exceptional. The best view on the old town in the night does not need any comment, is just breathe...taking. We will come back. Soon ;)More

From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted by the most professional and friendly staff who could not have done more for us. We visited at around 10pm on a Saturday evening and had not booked in advance, so I wasn’t sure...if we would be able to get a table. The staff found us a great table straight away, with excellent panoramic views of the cathedral and castle. Alyona, our server, took the time to guide us through the menu and found us cocktails based on our taste. It really was service at its very finest. Alyona also invited us to sample the panoramic views from the roof terrace once our drinks had been served. The views are superb and in the summer you could spend all night on the terrace, especially when the castle is lit up at night. Sky Bar is a must visit if you are in Bratislava and I will definitely return if I am ever back in the city.More

When I go to a restaurant for the first time that is aiming to entice you by the information that is on their website, including the menus, I never set my expectations too high. However, the feedback that I received from work colleagues encouraged me...to experience the setting that this location provides and to put my faith in culinary details that the menu provided. I could write a lot about the evenings experience. However, I will try and keep it short and to the point. From the moment we entered the restaurant until the moment we left my wife and I were provided with a level of service by the staff that felt genuine and kind. Our waiter allowed us both to have a personal experience of his service. All this whilst having an amazing dining experience which included a table that had a great view of Bratislava Castle. The cuisine was very well presented, both visually and verbally by our waiter. Not one of the masterclass dishes disappointed us. The timing between each course allowed us to spend our 3.5 hours consuming them with our wine at a rate that did not impact our conversation flow. As a "talker", this is something which is very important. We will return. However, we both want the memory of our first visit to remain with us and motivate us to return in the not too distant future.More

Inventive cocktail menu. I went off piste and ordered a pisco sour. Delicious. Then a surprise pisco and pineapple shot was delivered by the barman…! On to food… lovely smoked fish starter with my favourite hassleback potato, and potato dumpling and pulled pork main with...plum and nuts, all paired with delicious Slovakian wines….. It’s a rooftop venue but manages to be cosy and welcoming even in winter months…. You must try it!!More

A great place for some fantastic views of Bratislava, however our experience was marred by the food that we received. We were offered a selection of drinks (beer) only to told after we ordered that they had no beer as offered that we could have...their non alcoholic beer which they still had' even though we booked in advance of dining!! One of our team who is a seasoned Thai traveller for many years had food poisoning after after eating undercooked chicken. He raised his concerns with the waiter/manager at the time and was met with a condescending attitude. Eventually, they agreed to refund the teams bill. In addition, the lighting is very dim and the music very loud which makes it difficult to read the menu and converse. We never saw anyone from Thailand during our whole time there!!!!More
