Unique place for whole Slovakia. Café where everyone pays with money in virtual currencies instead of Euro. It's full of electric gadgets and art.
The place is closed on weekends, but a friend of my friend who is volunteering there opened it up for us...and gave us the whole tour. I received information about virtual currencies, history of the place, its planned future, personal reasons for the guy to start to believe in the future of virtual currencies.
On the top of all this interesting information, I had an change to try some of the uncommon drinks that the place offer, compared to other regular cafés. I had the antioxidant mushroom drink. This is nothing hallucinogen, but rather some kind of healthy tea. I asked the guy that was preparing the drink for me to make it in a way that he likes - I ended up with the drink with a little coconut milk, cinnamon and honey. I must say that it was very good. It might be also because I like to try new things.
Another drink I tried was bulletproof coffee. It was the first time that I had this coffee so I was very curious. It's double coffee shot with nut butter and a special oil that is added to the drink. Again, something very interesting. It was tasty and I had a constant high energy level for the whole afternoon. But I actually couldn't sleep until midnight so be aware of that.
The guy that showed us around invited me for those drinks, which was very nice form him, considering he hand't known me until one hour ago. In general, the prices for those specialties are little higher, but they are specialties so I guess it comes hand in hand.
To summarize my experience, it was very pleasant afternoon. I recommend you the place if you want to experience something very unconventional, meet interesting and nice people, or just try some new and uncommon drinks.More
