I was a little concerned that the place was empty when I visited for an early dinner but there was no need - this place is wonderful! The two members of staff were really friendly and welcoming and offered great service. There’s a few tables...outside and inside there’s a a proper restaurant area behind the bar section at the front. The menu is decent and the time taken to serve is quick. The starter of smoked beef on homemade bread was incredible - well presented, large and incredibly tasty. The schnitzel was large and served very hot along with a sizeable portion of potato. One of my favourite casual restaurants in the city and I highly recommend.More

We visited upon recommendation of our walking tour guide, mid- afternoon and our party of 5 was the only one there. We all wanted to taste the bryndzové halušky, and everyone was thrilled with the choice. The firm, but soft, potato dumplings, smothered in just...the right amount of goat cheese sauce (or was it sheep?), and topped by bacon (I'd call it crispy pork fat with a thin crunchy rind) was exquisitely cooked and for me was a sublime, unforgettable taste of the region's cooking.More

I am glad to state that this was one of the few nice places in Bratislava in which the staff was friendly. There was one place where they did not even serve us. She would pass us by a few times and ingore us. Then...in some other place the waiter was texing and completly ignored us. But not here. The staff was friendly. I imagine the boss (and or owner) was also helping and he was also very friendly. They work hard. We also much enjoyed the local food served in. I would reccomend to find the place in the city and enjoy itMore

Great experience, tasty food and good drinks. Farm to table even if they don't claim it upfront. We had great sausage, fish, chicken, as well as apetizers: tartare and grilled cheese
