Family restaurant with cozy atmosphere. The staff doesn't speak perfect English, but they speak well enough and make an effort to explain everything. The menu is available in English and they serve tasty local dishes. At the back is a terrace where you can sit comfortably on a hot day.

This was a very positive surprise. Tasty food (lentils soupe was delicious, and the home made pirohy excellent as well), very friendly staff. Overall a very pleasant experience, both food and the warm atmoshpere.

Beat the crowds venturing out of city center and visit Horsky Park. Take a stroll through the park to work up an appetite to taste all the yummy home-style food at Ako doma. Cozy restaurant with a terrace offers tasty dishes for good prices. Make sure to leave some room for their in-house desserts. The staff is very pleasant and they seem to enjoy working in Ako doma and that speaks for it selves.

Visited couple of times, always a great food with a local twist and superior service. Food is priced reasonably, augmented with the best beer, Pilsner Urquel.
Always looking forward to visit. It's cozy with a nice ambiance. Well worth the extra mile to drop by and avoid tourist crowds.

Enjoy this domestic atmosphere in a family house, sit in the garden in summertime, and order a meal that tastes like home cooking. Daily menus available, parking is easy. Can be followed by a walk in Horsky park nearby ....

From outside it just looks like a normal house, nothing special. But when you do enter you will be like i different place. I would recommend to go upstairs on the terrace. Its peaceful and nice - of course i do recommend it when there is a nice weather :) What is more important is the kitchen. they do serve really jammy food. Hope they will continue to do so for more years. On normal working day you may also consider to book a place during your lunch break coz it may get crowded

This small restaurant is located outside tourist center of Bratislava, but if you are looking for a nice place with a great food and even greater service, then you might spend few Euro and take taxi.
It is definitely worth the effort.
Do not order "standard drinks" like coke, but go with their homemade fresh ones lemonades. As for the food - I've got no specials - everything is great (been there several times).

I had a lunch several times in this nice homely restaurant. I have to stress a good quality of the food whatever you order, very nice home made soft drinks and an excellent and polite service.
