This was a lovely and savory experience.
I had a Purple potatoes Gnocci with ricotta+cauliflower+turnip dill. On a side I had a Beetroot juice with pomegranate and other fruits.
Indeed very tasty and I was pleasantly surprised by inovative aproach to meals they serve.
I’ll...definitely come back as I need to try those mouthwatering cakes :)
Expect prices to be a but higher but it is definitely worth it.More
A very stylish, modern minimalist restaurant which is truly world class for flavour. First lunch was beetroot ravioli which I loved. Second lunch a few days later was sautéed potato dumplings with ricotta foam and burnt butter which was FABULOUS! Finish with sensational chocolate pie...with salted caramel crust.
I wish I lived nearer!More
I will NEVER EVER be the same having had the salted Caramel pie at Fach.Silkysmooth light and BEYOND WONDERFUL. The cafe itself is very modern chic, concrete floors plain stucco walls and comfortable modern wooden chairs or fabric arm chair s. The staff are delightful, the...toilets even had proper individual towels.Round one complete. Round two tomorrowMore
FACH is a hidden gem in the old town of Bratislava. Extremely good quality of food and drinks, sustainable options and reasonable prices. Excellent service from very kind staff. I would like to add that in the bathroom they have actual towels instead of napkins...or smt else and I found it lovely.More
I had the poached eggs with smoked salmon and spinach on sour bread. The dish included hollandaise sauce as well but I asked for it on the side and they said it was not a problem. It was absolutely delicious and well cooked. Esp the...egg, it was cooked to a perfect 63C, probably the best poached egg I’ve ever had. The hollandaise sauce was a bit different from the ones I’ve had before. I deduced that it was made with white wine instead of vinegar creating a foamier texture of sauce.
Over all great experience. Definitely recommend xMore
This was a great find in Bratislava’s old town. Nice, unfussy atmosphere with a warm welcome and quick service. The modern dishes (including many vegetarian options) included updated versions of traditional meals. I had roast duck, for example, but the delicious red cabbage was pureed...while the meat was already ‘dissected’. One of our party had a delicious serving of fried cod beautifully presented. And there were gorgeous cakes for dessert.More
