Just a few steps away from the main square, an elegant restaurant with top notch service. After many years in Hungary this is the first time a waiter was genuinely interested in making sure that I understood the dish and that I ordered something to...my liking. So nice to see somebody passionate about his job! We had two starters and then I had salmon steak, cooked to perfection. We shared a chocolate dessert, also very good. Me and my partner (I'm Hungarian, he is Italian) have recently been to Győr, a wonderful city with peculiar, adorned architecture, extremely kind people and one of our most surprising food experiences: at Lamareda. The restaurant offers a menu of traditional Austro-Hungarian dishes, with an...exquisite presentation on plate and some re-imagined elements, creating an unexpected taste twist. The service was kind, efficient and very attentive, and last but not least the place was also spotless clean. I'd highly recommend everyone to have lunch or dine here after a nice walk in the city.More

Gyro is e really pleasant surprise and this restaurant has everything a traveller could need. Top service a very interesting menu featuring local dishes and a good wine list of local wines. duck done two ways has been a culinary highlight of my trip.
