Customer service was great and helpful. Place was small, but atmospheric. Not so many choises for lunch, but our salads and soup were delicious.

Fascinating decor. Good food. Varied custom. All wines were Hungarian and very good. Reasonable range of beers.

Incredible place. Great music. Great atmosphere and great food and drink. So much to see that we had to come back the next day for a second look and to take photos

Lived up to expectations. Huge ruin bar set on 3 floors, so many rooms to explore and busy every week. Drinks were cheap and loads of choice. Shame about the weird barmaid who tried to charge us twice for one round of drinks and pocket some for herself....

Directions are completely wrong, asked several random strangers for help and eventually got there. Great bar, cheap drinks, they speak English. Gin and tonic plus glass of wine was £5.50, now you can't argue with that!

Was traveling in Budapest with a few friends, and randomly stumbled upon this bar our first night visiting. Went back each night afterward. AWESOME atmosphere, very laid back, welcoming, with great food and live music. Totally loved it and still tell friends today just how great a spot it was!

We came here for an evening drink. Great soulful music and fun cocktails. Really eclectic art and fun decor. Everyone very friendly, no problems with awkward security. Outdoor bit for smoking. Would highly recommend!

Just wanted to say that the map is wrong here! Inexpensive beer, pretty good burger. Really big, and wasn't too crowded in the early evening.

Club and bar at night and market by day. Extremely interesting concept. We were here for a holiday with my wife and some of our friends and other family members. We were impressed by the concept of this place. You wont have to go to many bars to feel the night life in Budapest. Just head here. Two floors and... More

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
