It was a busy place in lunch time, was served with few good dishes, english menu was helpful, hummus, kabab, beef items were juicy and finger licking good. A treat for food lovers in the heart of budapeat.

If you like hummus this is you place!! Vegetarian or meat combination with hummus and delicious bread. Healthy food perfect for lunch or dinner, without complications and with very good price. There are several of them around the city.

Let me be honest, I adore hummus. I would eat it every day. So when we came across this hummus bar, there was no chance we wouldn't eat there. It was great, nice staff, nice food and not even expensive. I loved it!!!!

We stopped off at one of Budapest's Hummusbars (they have locations all over the city) for lunch while touring around the city and found it to be a great place for a quick, economical meal. The service was quick and pleasant, and the food was...More

This place is like a modern fast food joint that offers healthier and more delicious option for any of the terrible multinational chains. A must visit for any vegan or vegetarian looking for inexpensive alternative for dinner in the very central Budapest. We ordered two...More

Upon entering we eventually received an uncertain welcome before being seated. The decor could be vastly improved to create a more authentic and warm environment. The food ordered was quite tasty, but poorly put together, with all falafel balls towards the front, all salad towards...More

Description
We believe in curiosity and the pursuit of new experiences, a journey that leads to far lands and distant times. Since the beginning of time, food has been the most vital necessity for survival and besides that, a main source of joy. This is one of the few things that never change. Food is the oldest venue which brings worlds together. The first hummusbar was opened in 2005, and since then, our restaurants have become a part of the city with several locations. We are present in the most desirable spots of the urban scene with a boutique flavour to our food and our sites. Our food is unique by its simplicity. We use quality ingredients, our dishes are homemade, fresh and nutritious, based on ancient recipes. We keep our atmosphere humble and welcoming. Everyday, we work to remind our guests how simple a thing can be to enjoy life. We are a growing chain in Budapest, Hungary with our eye on the european market.
