I have visited Kèt Szeecsen for the 2nd time. Quality of food is still excellent, especially the fish tapas. It is really worth trying. Service is a bit slow but still ok. If you target this splace specificall make sure you have a reservation otherwise you can easily end up w/o dinner.

We just moved into the neighborhood for the next few months and we feel very lucky that this place is just around the corner. Everything we tried there was incredible. We can't wait to go back and one day learn how to pronounce the name.

If you have a problem connecting to the real authentic Hungarian cuisine, this would be a perfect place. We had a nice cozy dinner, all 4 dishes and desserts where excellent. Strong Italian style coffee - which is sometimes hard to find in Budapest - has to be mentioned here. So we decides to go back for brunch. We weren't... More

Rather pricey for what you get. Slow service for the amount of people in the place. €10 for a latte, an orange juice and two croissant? Too much for all the fuzz.

Nice location, friendly staff and good food. Not the cheapest but Nice tapas. I had the salmon tartare, spinach with serrano, schrimps and goat cheese.

We booked into this restaurant based purely on it's rave reviews on tripadvisor- we were not disappointed! Our main courses were the lamb with sweet potato, duck with risotto and Thai green vegetarian curry- all were beautifully prepared and very tasty. The Creme brûlée was good but the chocolate soufflé was definitely the highlight. House white not bad. All in... More

Enjoyed a great breakfast here. Very busy so reservation a good idea. Wide choice of omelettes and egg dishes including eggy bread. Peasants breakfast included red pepper and cottage cheese spread, ham and dried sausage ( all cold) . You can sit in or out. We had great service but can imagine service might slip if everyone at same stage.... More

Ket Szerecsen has been one of my favorites before and it's still on top ofi list when visiting. If you like small plates (like Spanish tapas) and Hungarian flavors, it's an excellent place to eat. Outdoor and indoor options. Wine selection is good. It won't get too "loudy" like the tourist traps on Liszt Ferenc ter nearby, so you can... More

We went to this place on a tip-off from a local youngster serving in another well-reviewed coffee shop, and it's great. The service is excellent, easy going, informal and ultra friendly but also super efficient. The place has the air of a family run restaurant, though I don't know if it is. The food is fantastic - lovingly prepared, simple,... More
