Of all the Ruin Bars we visited in Budapest everyone in our group agreed this was the best one. We found this bar on the first night of our visit and went back for the following two nights as well. The atmosphere was relaxed, there...was a fairly large drinks menu on the wall behind the bar and there was plenty of seating options inside and outside from chairs to sofas. I would recommend this bar if you don't want the hustle and bustle of the larger Ruin Bars. The drinks were inexpensive (even for Budapest) and the Mexican street food, more suitable for late night snacks, was good both nights we ate in the bar. I would also recommend you try the cherry beer!More

Really nice bar / restaurant suitable for larger groups of people. Nice interior and great atmosphere, was a lot of people there when we visited.

Strange music choices (classical music and 80's Euro rock) , strange bar staff ( in a good way), great drinks, loved this place...

The bartender gave us the wrong change on a cheap drink, 1100 Forint. He gave us change as if we gave him 2000, when it was in fact 5000. He proceeded to call us liars and refused to give us the correct money back. The...drink seemed quite watered down as well. It is a tourist bar where tourists are likely to get scammed blind without knowing. Be aware and check your change.More

We came here twice for a drink when in Budapest for 5 days. It does not get the attention it deserves compared to the busier Szimpla Kert but this place was much better. Plenty of bar staff on duty so you didn't wait for too...long, nice service, nice atmosphere, good prices, what is there note to love?More

Great bar and atmosphere! Cheap beers and friendly people. Tacos were below average for anyone familiar with Mexican food but good for bar food/drunk people food! We got three different types of "tacos", black beans, and chips. They were more like quesadillas than anything else....Just protein and cheese. but again - it's a bar! Would definitely come back for the beers and vibes. Oh, good music too!More

One the (many) good ruin bars in old town Budapest. Worth a visit to sample the unique atmosphere of Budapest ruin bars.

This is a nice bar, down a little lane but feel the general vibe was a bit off. The drinks were cheap and stayed for 1 beer but went on to another bar after this. Worth a visit but feel other bars nearby are better.

If you visit Budapest and don’t visit here you have missed out. I was on my honeymoon and staying close by so made a few trips. It’s a ruin bar in the true sense of it. When it rained they ran round unplugging stuff to...make it safe(ish). A truly unique bar with friendly staff and good low cost beer and food. 100% if your in the area visit. Clean toilets for a ruin bar as well, which was nice. If you want waiter service and cutlery stay away if you want to experienced the ruin bar culture dive in.More

There were dogs there when we went but they may have been the owners. Worth trying I guess.
