Ate in Henri's as we were staying in the Victoria hotel next door. It's a lively place with lots of atmosphere. There appeared to be as many locals as tourists. The beer was great as you would expect, but I really enjoyed the food too. Good english spoken by the waiting staff, and a very pleasant evening.

Best place I can recall eating in this year. What a treat. Fantastic staff, great service and the food is absolutely top notch. Could not reccomend more, thoroughly enjoyed our visit and excellent value for money. Very extensive choice of beer too.

Stayed in hotel beside this unassuming Belgian Bar. Dropped in for a beer on our last night while waiting on wife. Walked through the door to be surprised by a lovely little bar/restaurant . Met by a really friendly and helpful bar man ...had a craft beer on his recommendation . Joined by the wife and decided to stay for... More

I have been in several times for the beer and the beer list is phenomenal. Today we came in for beer and lunch and the food was great as well. I had the gnocchi and chicken in tomato cream sauce. My friend had the deer ragout. Come for the beer but make sure you have a dish or too. On... More

Also known as Belgo Sorozo this restaurant is not the cheapest but offers great food and wonderful choice of beers. The four of us went without booking and it was fairly empty but soon filled up. We all ate something different and it was all delicious and the beers although not cheap, have to be the best in the world!

Came here twice for dinner during my recent visit to Budapest and loved the place. On the first time I had the duck liver as an appetizer and the pork knuckle as main dish; on the second time I had a soup and the pork medallions. Everything really good. But the most impressive feature of this place is the number... More

We had the calamari and the muscles here with Belgian beers. The food was very good but it came with the wrong sauce. Service was good and the ambience was excellent.

The brasserie is along the Danube river promenade and it is easy to miss. The choice of Belgian beers is impressive. The food quality very good. We had pork knuckle (very good and enough for 2) and chicken breast stuffed with wallnuts and Roquefort ( very good). The prices are reasonable. The staff cordial with some English difficulties. Staying in District I / Buda

Neighbourhood Profile
District I / Buda
The historical center to a city with a multifarious and intricate past, Buda has some of the most outstanding buildings in Europe and an enviable natural landscape with stunning views onto the Danube. Centered around the Royal Palace, it provides a glimpse into the golden years of the Austro-Hungarian empire and the lives led by the aristocracy at the time. Matthias Church, beside the palace, hosted many events attended by the royal family and was the chosen place for the coronation of Franz Josef, one of the Hungarian Habsburg kings. Having admired the palace and the church, a visit to Buda will be unforgettable by the stunning and memorable panorama over Pest offered by the seven towered Fishermen’s Bastion.
