This place is tucked away by the basilica. It has good serving staff and the cooking is outstanding - Hungarian with modern twists. I enjoyed my food here with super cold yoghurt and berries soup, a paprika beef dish and great beer. Well worth sussing...More

First Restaurant we tried in Budapest and I would recommend it. The waiting staff were helpful and friendly and the food was delicious. The starter I ordered was a selection of everything and it was huge, which meant I couldn't do justice to my main...More

This is an exceptionally good and casual local restaurant. We were a table of nine and it was easy to make a reservation by telephone, and they were very accommodating of our large party. The food is incredible: try the duck and arugula appetizer and,...More

It all started out so well ! The restaurant looked traditional and inviting. Our waiter was a bit of a preening popinjay with a poncy bouffant hairdo favoured by orchestra conductors which suited his patronising and condacending demanour and attitude especially when I spoke to...More

Booked this restaurant with high expectations. First table they offered was next to the WC. They seemed irritated when I asked for another table, but accommodated us. Our waiter was an older guy who was pretty rude and inattentive, although the other waiters and manager...More

I don't know if you can book - we had a party of 4 on a Friday night, and were able to be seated within 10-15 minutes. We arrived about 9:00 p.m. at night, though, so rather later in the evening.
