Very diverse menu.... Wait staff was awesome! I loved to go here in the summer and order my dinner and sit outside and drink beer and watch people walking by. Served Karlovacko beer and it is one of my favorite beers.

Our first visit to this small restaurant was by chance. I wanted to eat something and I found it interesting enough to pop in. I didn't regret although it was a misundestanding in price because they have daily offers on reduced price and I asked...for this cheaper option but when the bill came, I saw that the total isn't mach and the waitress told that in weekends there's no reduced price daily offer. It caused a bit bittersweat feeling but to be honest, I liked the food so much, that I returned next time as well. I loved the home-made chicken soup, the mexican corn soup and the burrito, the seasoning is great! I ate there salmon pasta and tomato soup as well, these were OK but nothing special. If you like spicy home-style mexican food, you must try it!More

We were out exploring kalvin ter and came across this Mexican restaurant. It was delicious. We had the Mexican meal for two, this consisted of tacos, burrito and fajita. The serving was enormous, exceptionally tasty. Staff were very helpful and cheerful. Excellent value for money....Unfortunately we did not go back for another meal. A good excuse for another visit to Budapest.More

Stumbled upon "Chilli Bistro" by accident really. Fancied a drink in the hot weather and decided to have lunch. The first day I had pizza of which first drawn me to it initially, Wow that was amazing! My wife had the pasta in a cheesy...garlic saucewith chicken, Wowee!! that was better!! Of which I found hard to come by. So, the next day we went again. I was not disappointed, my wife had the same again, I did too. My god, it is truly the best I have ever had, and I'm a chef by trade! Compliments to the chef!! An extra special to Anna the waitress. I hope you read this as you work hard and effortlessly. You never stop and you are a credit to this establishment. You run front of house all by yourself, inside and out and with a smile on your face. You are polite and attentive to detail and you remember regular customers drinks! You deserve good credit where it is due!! Well done!More

Had a light bite in here early evening. Hankering for a Mexican It was a toss up between here and a nearby gringos amigos so we flipped the coin and ended up going for here. The place was fairly empty but then at 6pm so...was Gringos amigos. The first thing that hits you is the wall to wall coca cola. Americas finest obesity enabler is everywhere you look, memorabilia of the stuff hits you from every angle. Even the wifi code is cocacola so someone here is seriously living the sugary dream. We ordered a couple of mojitos - there was alcohol bottles behind the bar and stacked on the shelves but unfortunately I don't think any of it made its way into our drinks. The waitress was very friendly and duly took our order. The food was fairly decent and inexpensive, we had some nachos with salsa and guacamole and a quesadilla each Which came nicely presented with a little bowl of rice (not freshly cooked though - microwaved as an earlier reviewer mentioned) and another little bowl of salsa. We finished off with a couple of coffees, this for roughly 8500 HUF or £20. In summation an ok little cantina for an afternoon snack or a bite on the move but I wouldn't return for a full evening meal.More

We ended up running in here to shelter from a rain shower and had an amazing meal! We ended up returning the next day too! Not exactly a posh restaurant but definitely a great quick stop for lunch. We also tried really nice brands of...beer and cider that we had never tried before and haven't seen since! We had a good meal here with friendly servers.More

We went to eat there but the food wasn't really good... Everything was complite cold and the potion quite small. My friend ask for one wrap without salad and the waitress forgot to said it in the kitchen, after she wait more than twenty minutes......And the bistro was empty.More

The service was nice, but that's all I can say positive about this place. The food might have been good when it was originally cooked, but it was just warmed up dishes. Like clockwork, we heard the 'ding' of the microwave in the back and...three minutes later the food was brought to our table. And the glasses including the pitcher of water were filthy - smeared grease and fingerprints on them all. So we opted for the bottled water instead. Good idea here, just poorly executed.More

Having checked out of our hotel, we were looking for somewhere to spend some time before we were needed at the airport, and we chose this place. As they had a TV with sport playing, we asked if they could put on a Premier League...match. The waitresses were very accommodating and searched through the channels to try and find it. Although in the end we couldn't find it, it was a signal of the good service. Our food was very nice at a reasonable price. However the highlight was when we asked if they could call a company for two taxis to take us to the airport. As it was raining heavily, taxis were in short supply, but they worked very hard for quite a while to secure us two. We are very grateful!More

This place has a good range of Mexican based meals. Perfect if you are looking for something light between big meals or just to keep up the stamina when wandering the city. The ice coffees are yummy! I ate here twice during my visit to...Budapest and both times the staff were very friendly. It is nice to sit on the sidewalk and look at the world go by. The location is good you can walk to a lot of attractions from here.More
