By chance, we ended up here to eat, and I am glad we did. Not only were the waiters and staff friendly, but the food and selection was superb! We had a fantastic evening. Will be work to go back again!

One of the best meals in town, with Hungarian, Austrian and some international cuisine. A large variety of beef steaks! Average prices, but a good rate between costs and quality. We ate twice, but fully recommend it. Friendly and helpful staff, Marcell did all the best for us to have a nice and comfy meal!

One more place to avoid in Budapest, the food is frozen microwaved standard and is very overpriced, not recommended at all

Great food prepared for a large group to taste mostly Hungarian cuisine from Goulash to meats and fish. Fantastic service and a local trio playing.

Benjamin made my day! I have been eating at restaurants all over Europe and being a chef and big time foodie, I really enjoy talking to my server and hearing their recommendations. Benjamin was the first server I've had who made my dining experience top notch! To top it off the food was incredible!

Just landed in Budapest and dined at ES Biszttro after checking into our hotel. Our family was craving traditional Hungarian meals and ES did not disappoint. A'Kos our waiter was very attentive and provided us with a great experience. Made some good recommendations on dishes and beverages. The food was excellent.

We ate here twice during our stay and enjoyed both dinners very much. Typical bistro atmosphere and style of food - the foie gras and veal paprikash were very good as were the asparagus specials. My soup was delicious!

A very good experience, especially because the waiter Magyar Benjamin, who was very knowledgable both in food and specially in wine. He was the ultimate waiter. For starter, I had goose liver pate. The food was delicious, and so was the wine that he recommended.

This place meets the expectations. The interior is pleasant, not too fancy so you feel uncomfortable, but shows quality and good taste. We were maximally satisfied with the cuisine and the dishes, and Krisztian, our waiter was also excellent. Definitely a place to go to.

Can not fault the food and service. Our waiter Benjamin was sensational and very friendly. His English was spot on which made it easy. The Ribs were divine and huge. Excellent value for money. Just having breakfast now because we thought dinner was great had to have breakfast.

A már ismert monarchiabeli ételek, különleges grillek ÉS falatok mellett izgalmas bor- ÉS kézműves sörválaszték vár. ***Wine bar, beer pub, terrace, bistro, restaurant, brasserie. In ÉS you don’t need to have traditional dishes and follow dining traditions. The menu has three separate parts: nibbles to share, typical dishes of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy and grilled meat and fish. A unique, unconventional wine and beer selection rounds off this delicious gastro experience. Breaking with the formality of dining traditions, i.e., the sequence of starter, main course and dessert, guests can have nibbles while enjoying a glass of wine or beer. Night and day. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area.
