only burger I had in a town but excellent taste, prepared from fresh ingredients just in front of you, I recommend also Elvis sandwich. Nice cosy place, have to wait longer for the food but it was definitely worth it. Got out totally stuffed as...More

If you go out you need to eat. In the VIIth district this place is probably one of the best value for money. Burgers, sausages, heavy food. Beats the kebab on the corner. The only problem is they close early.

The quality of food was amazing, best meal all trip! It was also the cheapest all trip. People should definitely go for food, you won't be disappointed.

Top quality burger, no fuss and made fresh to order. Beautifully juicy and very well priced. Shame we found this place on our last night as I want to go back!

This is my teenage son’s favorite burger possibly anywhere. The apartment we rented was right next door so we popped in a few times over our three week stay. It was fresh and very tasty. We loved the relaxed environment. The decoration was a bit...More

We stumbled across this place by chance as we were searching for a late bite. I ordered a burger with brie and cranberry while my girlfriend opted for a standard cheeseburger: both were incredible. We've eaten burgers all across Europe. This place is right up...More

From the outside of this little eatery you may think "what's so special?". A cook standards guard over an open fry-top making deliciously smelling burgers. The cook speaks little English and I speak a little Hungarian, so the conversation is simple and to the point....More

A few of us were travelling around Europe, and we had the pleasure to find this absolute gem in Budapest. We all had the 'Hamburger 1000' and it is, without a doubt, the best burger I've ever eaten. The man serving us actually makes the...More

Arrived late at night in Budapest and wanted to pick up something from nearby instead of venturing further out. Having seen PIG 37 trip advisor reviews - albeit not many in existence - decided it was worth a go. We nervously entered the premises, pointed...More

We ordered one burger with French fries one evening. The "chef" prepares the raw meat for the burgers on the same chopping boards as he dresses the cooked burgers!! He makes the burgers himself then "washes" his hands by wetting his hands with water and...More

Hi there. Just to be clear. There are 4 chopping boards. One for meat (chicken and pork and raw sausages), one for vegetables, one for bread, and one for burgers and beef. As you know, you can eat beef as raw meet, if not mixed...More

District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses
the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and
colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in
an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes
and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic
crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of
the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in
Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly
