We had lunch here on our 3 day break and it was lovely cooked fresh in front of us and the beef dumplings were to die for!

Small place but cozy, if you come inside you smell the greatness of the simple dishes. It's affordable and delicious food for a quick and fast bite

The lady who works here is lovely. Do doubt about it. The food here is above average which looking at the size of the store is a pleasant surprise. Only downsize is she managed to cook a chicken and a duck meal in only 1-2 minutes.

Before I went here I read the reviews and I was a bit disappointed. After a few days in Budapest I now wonder where this lady gets authentic ingredients for her dishes from. I had the Noodles with King Prawns, the lady was very friendly and asked where I was from, how I would like my noodles etc I have... More

Ordered teriyaki chicken for the husband and beef noodles for myself initially but the owner strongly recommended her newly developed dish - spicy garlic chicken for us to try so we swapped the teriyaki chicken with the spicy garlic chicken. It turned out to be a really good decision. Other than soup, most of the dishes are fresh-made. Tasty and... More

I stumbled upon this little place just a short walk from my hotel, on Va'mhaz Krt. Ordered a portion of dumplings. I sprinkled them with soy sauce when they were ready and took the container out to one of the tables set up on the pavement. Enjoyed it so much I returned the next evening for another portion. The woman... More

After arriving to Budapest we were very tired and just wanted something quick to take back upstairs. We both got the fried noodles with chicken and weren't at all disappointed! Tasty food and large enough portions that I couldn't eat it all. I would definitely eat here again.

Fast & cheap street food. My wife fancied the sushi, which was fine. I went for the chicked noodles, which were good. We ate on a table on the street. We normally eat in nice restaurants at night for dinner but just like something light & simple for lunch & this fits the bill.

Not bad for something to fill the gap. Not a place where I would normally eat, but, we were looking for something to eat quickly but not wanting a lot as we had a late large lunch. Noodles were cooked fresh and a good selection to choose from. Very clean.

Cheap and tasty....recommended by the Filipino experts I was travelling with! Only 6 chairs outside on the pavement but with a takeaway it's only a 100m from Fovan Ter Square.

Thank Jerry G

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
