Served traditional Hungarian food in traditional Hungarian style. The sweet potato and prawn soup was delicious. The variations of salmon were very good and proportions were quite large. Go there hungry!!

Having had a cup of tea here, we returned for dinner a couple of nights later. With live piano music, a quirky ambience and a great menu, this restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. The service was super, the prices reasonable and we really enjoyed our time here. Frequented by Hungarians, this restaurant is located in the heart of the theatre... More

Expansive menu with Hungarian and European dishes. We all had something different and were happy with our choices. The portion sizes were generous and only one of our party had room for desert.

The food was great but the problem is about hospitality! They were closing in 20minutes they didnt inform us and the moment we starting eating they were gathering the chairs in front if us.before we even half eaten a wall of chaira was in front of us!So sorry but we were really disappointed!

Family owned traditional café-restaurant in Budapest's theater district. The elegant decoration takes you back to the 1920'-30' Budapest and Paris. Although being a café the menu is quite large. We provide you high quality food from breakfast to late dinner. Taste our Hungarian dishes (the goulash is excellent) or try one of the owners' recipe (matze-ball soup, fried goose legs or the Jewish style eggs). We are open from 8 a.m. to midnight with live music from 7 p.m. When the weather is nice you can sit outside and feel like a real Budapester.
