Quiet (when I visited) and nice place, good service. Beer and palinka are fine (especialy the pear palinka!). Food selection is not my taste, but the sausages are well done. Good place to beer!

A nice Bavarian style restaurant in Buda. The food was tasty and authentic. Typical German sausage and potato dishes. A good find by chance on the way down from Buda Castle. The service was efficient and attentive without being intrusive or keeping us waiting long.

Located near Batthyány tér. Unable to give much details about the food as we were not invited to eat here. Our group of 8 adults and 3 children were literally turned away despite the open tables and our request to split up to ease seating. The hostess/bartender shook her head no and pointed to the door and continued to look grim until we left. We may be Americans, but are not obnoxiously so :) Very disappointed as this Bavarian restaurant was suggested in a few guide books.
