A fantastic range of wines, great wine, with excellent savory snacks. Perfect mood, small misunderstanding with the wine glasses. Don't miss it!

The perfect place to meet with friends. Great choice of wines and professional staff to help you choosing. In the summer the terrace in front of the basilica is very nice.

I was looking for a place to try multiple Hungarian wines before buying and chose DiVino. I'd read the reviews beforehand, so my boyfriend and I each told the bartender the style and flavors of wine we prefer as well as our price range for the glass. We had a very friendly and knowledgeable young woman serving us who managed... More

Went into the wine bar as an innocent tourist, came out furious. i asked for two glasses of wine which the barman could recommend as representative of Hungary as i knew little of Hungarian wine. He poured two glasses, gave me the bill. I was very confused by Hungarian forints and paid up the 9,800 forints. I went to sit... More

A really nice wine bar with helpful, knowledgeable staff - they recommended me a really good wine after my description of what I would like to drink.

We called in to Divino for late Friday afternoon drinks and were guided to an excellent low acidity white (Arvay Padihegy Furmint Pohar) having described another wine we had been drinking earlier in the week. This was very enjoyable but turned out to be one of their most expensive wines as 2000 HUF per glass (wines start at 650 HUF).... More

Superb selections of the best wines Hungary has to offer. Service fine and very knowledgeable and it is well worth a stop after a night on the Danube. Plenty of snack choices that pair well with wines. Prices very reasonable and there is a wide spread of price and quality so there's something for everyone. Sleek ambiance but friendly.

We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon to buy a bottle of wine to go with our leftovers for dinner. We were fortunate to be served and educated by Kristof. He helped us to select a bottle and along the way also gave us tastings and talked about the various wine regions. We had considered a quick trip to the... More

Visited on a Saturday night and whilst it was busy it was easy to get a nice glass of wine. There were plenty to pick from. The bar gives you the wine in a nice glass (500HUF Deposit required). The selection of wine is vast and the bar staff appeared to know what they were talking about. You can take... More

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
