Visited at the Restaurants' week mostly due to its menu. This week special 3 course menu cost 3300Ft. The Bean Soup was amazing, the Fish Soup could be tastier a littlebit. For the main course we had chicken steak breaded with poppy seed and herbs and Home-marinated and roasted crispy front pork knuckle. Both meal was perfectly made! For desserts... More

We dined here on our first night back in Budapest and was not disappointed. They brew their own beers here, both the light and dark were very good. My wife had bacon wrapped pork medallions and I had the pork knee, both were great. The chocolate dessert was good as was the after dinner Unicum!. The service was friendly but... More

I started with a soup with liver dumpling. Excellent taste. The main course was calf leg, a traditional Hungarian dish. To my surprise it was filleted, not as it used to served in the good old days together with bones. The dessert was a pancake with chestnut filling. Altogether a nice meal.

Place is ok. Food is not bad but a little bit expensive if you compare in the area. Staff a little bit rude.

We were late 45 min and we apologized for that. But that doesn't mean that I should then justify what came after. First, we asked for bretzel: "it's finished". We asked for another starter: "it's finished". Then at some point we asked for a red non filtered beer: "we don't have it anymore". We didn't like their house beer so,... More

Delicious well cooked and presented meal- we had the perch and then the cinnamon pancakes which were scrumptious. Staff were really friendly and welcoming and the ambience enhanced by the live trio playing popular tunes. Enjoyed it so much we have booked to return tomorrow.

Tucked just around the side of the applied arts museum, this is a little gem. Very welcoming and a great choice of traditional Hungarian and german food. There was an accordion being played, with added to the ambience. Will come here again and again.
