We made the mistake to pay in cash and as a result they gave us a non-valid 1000HUF as change money. So be alert to old notes!!!

Went here to get some dinner. First impression about the place was good since it looked pretty chill and interesting. That feeling was gone quite quickly because of the poor service and tasteless food. We ate the risotto with fish and pad thai (bad choices...I know) and we neither of them were that good. Our waitress didn’t seem to pay any attention to us even when we were ordering and made us feel stupid. Wouldn’t recommend anything other than the basic tap beer.More

It was an absolute disgraceful goulash. Some salty water with few to none vegetables or meat and dry bread (probably 2 days old bread). Salad was also dry and tasteless. I had to eat as I was hungry but the food was nothing as described....Service was ok though, waiter did everything in his power to correct the problem, got out the soup from the bill , but no worries the entire price of soup was payed in tip to the waiter.( half mandatory 10% + rest optional as I have eaten the soup anyway)More

We went to this place after a recommendation by a friend. We loved the cozy athmosphere and nice staff. The food was amazing too.

Maybe because of its name as bistro I didn't expect anything special or more than usual and it's true that even the chicken stew - csirkepaprikás or paprikás csirke or what :) - might be usual for people who eat it on a daily basis,...but I just wanted to show a real Hungarian classic dish and tasted and it was so delicious, that I just didn't want to leave him taste it... :D I'm so happy with this experience, especially when it still makes me happy just to remember that perfect taste :) and I loved the newspaper style menu too :) , and Hungarian specialty desserts too at the end: madártej and somlói galuska - in my eyes a high quality bistro, or a very modest bistro with high quality flavors - thank you for the excellent experience, I recommend it to tourists and Hungarians as one! :)More

The starter was really good (sausages, pita bread) and the hungarian main Course (chichen paprika with potato noodles) was good. I had asian chicken curry and it was ok in terms of taste but felt like it was from a jar from the super market....The plate was extremely hot (not spicy), I mean microwave hot, and the rice. The waiter gave it to me and he was holding it with a towel.More

Need to start by thanking Claudia who made sure we had a great lunch plus offered tips and suggestions both on the menu and for us to enjoy Budapest even further. Was our first meal in Budapest so had to go for goulash soup ,...paprika chicken and meat stew. The three of them were absolutely amazing Need to point out that prices are not only fair but if you go for the lunch menu, you will end up with an amazing meal at a bargain price.. combine that with excellent service and have a mix for a happy customer. Would comeback to Most Bistro on my next trip So once again, thank you ClaudiaMore
