Lovely atmosphere with man on piano and female singer who played in background. Food was fantastic and service was also top notch.

We ate here following our visit to the Christmas markets. We only had main courses as we had eaten a very late lunch earlier. I ordered the pork loin. This was beautifully tender and delicious. The saute vegetables were tasty and portions adequate. Overall we felt that we had very good value for money. I was slightly hot in the... More

A daily business 3 course lunch is offered for 10€. Very good value! The service is friendly and almost too quick. A nice place to relax from exploring Budapest on foot.

Visited Budapest last weekend for a short break and visited this restaurant on 2 separate occasions, once for lunch and again on the last day for dinner. Boom & Brass is situated in an ideal location not far from Chain Bridge and central for shopping. The interior is trendy with a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Fantasic menu and service, highly... More

It had really nice staff who made you feel very comfortable. We had a nice relax dinner. I had the tuscany pasta, the pasta was still a bit hard but the taste was really good. My friend had the duck which was made real good. Maybe a bit too expensive for what you get but we had a good night... More

We were attracted by the look of the restaurant and it was even better inside, but happily the swanky decor did not mean high prices! I had a Wiener Schnitzel and it was very nice, except for one thing - there was an incredible amount of salt already on the fries, so I had to use a lot of ketchup... More

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
