Cash only and the menu changes. Solid meal and attentive staff. The chicken leg and potatoes was tasty and juicy. The menu is limited but there is something for everyone. Our first meal in Budapest was a thumbs up. I would go back. It's not...More

First you need to know that this place is not cozy -- it is small. Expect to be jammed in and it to be quite noisy. The soups are good. The meats are uneven. Some good and tender and some tough and fatty.. Also, be...More

Nice setting, pretty good food and reasonable service but nothing to stand out. Worth a visit but maybe we expected more

A lovely small restaurant with some fun and quirky touches. We ate upstairs and the light shades were imaginatively hand-made out of cardboard boxes and the tiles in the loos were hand decorated. Great fun. The staff were friendly and helpful, but. of course, we...More

Small restaurant serving creative Hungarian/French food and interesting cocktails in the Erzsebetvaros section of Budapest. Limited menu and small space with sparse decor but delicious food, tasty cocktails with a limited but well selected Hungarian wine list.

We happened upon this restaurant by chance and were lucky enough to be told there would be a table free in 15 minutes. The food was beautiful - I had the goulash, which was tender and juicy, and my friend had an equally amazing dish....More

District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses
the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and
colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in
an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes
and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic
crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of
the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in
Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly

It is a tiny place so 15 might be almost all their capacity upstairs (there is a sqaure room and a tiny long room for a long table), you might have to pay in advance to privatize or arrive early.
