The restaurant is located in a cozy downtown street. There's a fantastic pleasant atmosphere bothe inside the restaurant and outside the terrace (in a pedestrian street). The staff is expert, they always know what they are doing, do not bother us unnecessarily, but when we need's they always ready to help. Great wine selection with mainly hungarian winery. French - Hungarian dishes- not the cheapest but certainly interesting and tasty food. Very professional waiter , who helped us with the courses - must advise not to be in a rush. Each course is being prepared thoughtfully, and professionally, not a " fast food" attitude . Enjoyed it very much

We were two families with kids and had to book in advance. The service was great, meals delicious, but limited number of options to choose. Everything we tasted was great, however not so suitable for children. The prices are little bit higher, but in accordance to provided.

We decided to share a Hungarian and a French tasting menu between three of us. The staff weren't at all fazed. The food was delicious and the wine pairings excellent. Lovely evening rounded off with a rendition of Happy Birthday from the musicians. Made my evening. A great bistro. Will definitely visit again when we are next in Budapest.

What a wonderful experience we had at this quaint restaurant. The ambiance is cozy with live music playing until 11pm. The wait staff is extremely helpful in explaining the menu and caters to your every need. And the food is truly delicious! We started off sharing the smoked beef tenderloin and rucola salad, as well as the rabbit liver appetizer.... More

I ate here with a large group of friends and had a lovely dinner. The food was very tasty and the portions were just right (rather some of the huge portions we'd had elsewhere). A few of my friends had wine and the staff were great at letting them taste the wine before deciding which glasses to order as we... More

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
