It was nice to see an old familiar sight - McDonald's fast food and takeaway - My friend and I went in = it was clean, tidy and nicely laid out. All we had was ice cream but that was enough to sample their delights in Budapest

It is really no different here than in any other McDonalds anywhere else in the world. It was clean and service was fairly quick. Handy if you have kids that want a burger quickly.

We visited 3 different Mc Donald's in Hungary and they are all very good. The prices are cheaper than in Malta. Good service and very clean.

They have nice cake and make it real café. The staff were friendly, and really trying to help even they can't do English, of course some of them can, but two girls at the café can't. Same price as in Stockholm, feel no different, feel like home.

Coffee prices keep going up, but "Mackers" still provides the best value java in the city, although the barista seems bored with her job.

Was in need of a quick meal before a boat trip, so we decided on McD's. Big mistake. We ordered our meal, the server bought us our chips and drink but informed us our burger would be a couple of minutes so we decided to wait, she severed the next customer but by then our burgers had come and were... Our hotel was near this McDonald's and though there were some cafe's that looked really amazing just around the corner, we ended up at this McDonald's nearly every morning for breakfast. It was quick and tasty and the atmosphere was very nice. We even returned for a quick snack several times during the day and on a couple of evenings.... More

Standard McDonalds menu and service, set aside by the location. The building is fantastic. Lovely air conditioning inside and seating outside in the street, pedestrian pathway is a slightly better description. Always a hit with my son.

McDonalds, the name is enough for quality food and good service. Though the restaurant can be crowded in late evenings and night.

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
